Comfortable apartment in peace and quite, which suited us. We didn’t want to stay in a resort. Yet, there are some bars in the area and two minimarkets. We didn’t eat out but there are some restaurants too. Super well-equipped flat with everything you need - besides the basics, there are 3 different types of coffee makers, you just get Dolcegusto capsules in Mercadona (20-minute walk). We got 2 capsules for the first day, there was some tea, olive oil, salt and pepper - really convenient. A bus stop 3 and 11 take you to Salina (absolutely worth visiting) or Puerto del Rosario. For the rest of the island we hired a car, free parking place is available along the house. Super helpful host, detailed description of a check-in process, caring and helpful. The flat is designed with carefull attention to details.

Ideal place for some warmth and sun and a good place to relax. Close to Caleta de fuste if you want to find a few more things to do such as beach, marina, shops and restuarants. Would probably suit more mature people than younger folk as there is not much to do in the actaul resort other than eat and drink, however Caleta de fuste is only a 5 minute drive away or 25 minute slow walk and that area offers more for families and younger couples/singles.

away from noise, nice quite location great bus service, and five mins in car ten by bus to biggest supermarkets on island, no rip off prices ,you pay same as locals all fresh fantastic fresh seafood, just fifteen mins to airport Caleta de fuste fantastic beach sunbeds ,safe for children all sand great restraurants on beach , one of the best seafood restraurants excuse spelling, Caleta de fuste only five miles from Costa de Antigua . Airport only five miles, Car hire Autorisen best on island and cheapest , no insurance excess , everything included great cars , we parked at supermarket mentioned, on return from shopping car had been hit by another car and damaged ,no sign of other car some dishonest xxxx but no problem all covered ,Autorisen does what is says no nasty bills all covered in price fantastic service.Dont be afraid to hire car , unlike uk, roads are fantastic no potholes, great signs, cheap fuel ,very little traffic once away from airport,in fact not that busy at all even near airport, plus best beaches in world spoilt for choice.And one more thing for smokers of the green stuff ,it is available at club 44 Caleta de fuste a private club authorised by Spanish Law

It’s mainly residential with two hotels and some holiday...

It’s mainly residential with two hotels and some holiday accommodation with some bars and restaurants. No direct access to a beach and although the coastal path is easily accessible and takes you in Caleta de Fuste, it’s a 20-30 minute walk. We love it as a base and like to come back in the evenings to Stoners Irish Bar where there’s always a warm welcome no matter how old you are or where you’re from

A work in progress; lots of unfinished buildings and plots for sale. A lot of renovation to older Caletas going on and it needs it. Only a handful of shops and restaurants ; a few bars. Just a few hotels; plenty of apartments. No beach or access to the sea. A residential area which is close to the airport and within walking distance of Caleta Del Fuste, the main tourist town in this area.

Range of eateries not the best at an Irish bar, English corner restaurant, Indian, Mexican and Chinese only. Minimarkets were well stocked and open long hours. No beach at resort, as cliffs, but an hour walk along flat coastline pavement was a beach with golden sands and port with full facilities. Buses did call into resort for travel to other places on the island. Easy to park car and lots of seaviews, as very quiet with lots of spaces between apartment blocks.

There are only a few bars and restaurants - a taxi to the nearest lively resort was £2.50. There is no beach or access to the sea. Mainly elderly tourists and lots of expat retired Brits/Irish. The local bus service will take you to the capital for onward connections.

It is an apartment in a very quiet residential area so nice and quiet, but there is not much happening in the small village. Luckily the neighbouring town was just a short ride or a walk away. The apartment was very nice, lovely, clean and equipped with everything you would need even for a longer stay (washing machine, all the gadgets in kitchen etc). There is a small grocery store really close and also a few bars and restaurants around the corner. No swimmable beach in this area though!

What I appreciate the most, among other things, is how well-equipped the apartment was. It literally had everything, even extras – washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, laundry tablets, cooking oil, spices, tea, coffee, even a beach ball game… I could go on. So far, it’s the best accommodation I’ve stayed in when it comes to value for money.
