A hidden gem with fantastic views. It was so tranquil. The staff were very pleasant and the accommodation very comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were great, a lovely selection. I can recommend the hot stone massage, it was amazing and the spa very relaxing.

Super clean and comfortable room – amazing value for money. We really enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. We did some hiking in the area and the location of the hotel was great as a base. Cadiar is also not touristy at all, which we really enjoyed. Breakfast with the locals in the nearby café was definitely one of our highlights.

Friendly, helpful hosts. Very safe for our 2 bicycles. Clean, Comfortable and everything we needed to prepare our own food. Beautiful location, 15 minute walk to the stunning Old Town and lots of local walks along the river side. We really enjoyed our very peaceful, restful stay here. Oh and clear starlit sky too! We have visited Yegen and Mecina Bombarón and are enchanted...

We have visited Yegen and Mecina Bombarón and are enchanted by these two little mountain villages surrounded by nature and with stunning views over the valleys. Water is pouring out of the mountainsides in many places, a delight if you live, like us, in a very dry part of Southern Spain. The villages have made a real effort to bring books under the attention of the visitors, e.g. an old telephone box redesigned as a book exchange, benches formed as books with quotes of the author, big sculpture of the The Little Prince, etcetera. The warmth of the people is like a cherry on the cake.

This is a little hidden gem surrounded by the Sierra Nevada...

This is a little hidden gem surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountains, high enough to see the Mediterranean sea on the horizon. If you´re looking for tranquillity and nature then this is the place. There´s a beautiful walk called Acequias that starts on the doorstep of the hotel and follows the water all the way. It´s a stunning 10km walk that takes around 3.5 hours if you do the full circle. Knowing you have the underground spa to return to is the icing on the cake, it has all you need and unique in its character! The entire place is lovely and cosy 24/7 so we didn´t light the fire. There´s a couple of bars in the village to enjoy a cold beer overlooking the mountain range. I wouldn´t recommend the food in either, however there´s a nice restaurant in the town next door, or bring food with you and cook in the apartment. There´s a little shop for any little extras, but it´s expensive so better to take the bulk with you! The owners Antonio and Rosalia are masters of their trade who have perfected the balance of ensuring your every need is catered for without imposing. Lovely people with an impressive place!
