On the basis we got upgraded to a junior suite from the original room we booked (the door to the original room wouldn't lock), really have nothing but positive feedback on the hotel. The original room was actually really lovely, great features and fixtures, we would have been very happy staying there if the door had locked, but the Suite was superb. Massive bed (very comfortable), superb bathroom, nice decor. Couple of terraces looking out over the park. Staff throughout the hotel were superb, both in terms of sorting out the issues with the original room & passing on recommendations for restaurants etc. It's a fascinating town, with lots to recommend it. Also, it has a decent (& secure) car park just round the back of the hotel, which was a great bonus. Lovely people, fabulous room, would definitely stay again.
