This is the best self-catering accommodation that we have stayed in anywhere in Spain. The hosts were charming, generous and helpful, providing a welcome present of bread, milk, water, coffee and even a delicious Cake!! The apartment is thoughtfully planned with the holiday visitor in mind, with hot water available 24/7, very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a cleverly curated outside space for al fresco dining. There is ample parking on the wide and quiet street out front and the location is perfect for access to the Monfrague National Park, which is a short 10 min drive down the motorway.

Set in Galisteo, 23 km from Plaza Mayor, La pension del Parador features views of the city.

We’ve stayed here 3 times now and the property never fails to impress. It is well sited in Plasencia and the main square is in easy walking distance. For me the dining room and the choice of traditional cuisine is truly memorable. The breakfast was amazing too
