Was very clean and had all the facilties needed. Was just a few minutes walk from the beach. The owner informed us before hand there is no supermarket in the area which gave us time to get some food before we came.

We had an excellent overnight in Ajuy - a small village with limited facilities but an abundance of charm. The apartment is well located, near both a car park and the caves, with a very beach hut vibe. A lovely, bright, clean space, with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and a divided space (although not a fully separate room - not an issue for us, just for awareness) as a bedroom. Click-clack sofa bed was comfortable as far as they go, apartment was a good temperature, hot water was ample, communication via WhatsApp was prompt…overall, an excellent stay!

The experience was like a cute motel vibe. The hotel is attatched to their excellent restaurant. Perfect after a long day of going around the island with amazing staff, great pricing and delicious food. Very clean, very easy, good pricing.

The house is amazing, photos don’t do it justice, a traditional Canarian home with a modern twist, the house and outside areas are bigger than they look on photos, in very peaceful surroundings. There is lovely art work throughout the house, I wonder the history of the framed fabrics? There is lovely house had everything you needed, all appliances and furnishings are of a high standard for a rental and the whole house inside and outside was spotlessly clean. Javii was very attentive as the owner, not that we required any help as everything was perfect. Pajara is a small town, with a few bars/cafes and a lovely gift shop. Had a lovely meal at Casa Isaitas which is a few minutes walk away, great food and wine, a family run restaurant. We enjoyed the hermitage of the Virgen de La Peña and the little white church, and Ajuy caves, both within easy driving distance. Thank you for an enjoyable stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

Amazing property! Bright and spacious. The beds are super comfy and the shower pleasingly powerful. The location is top. Betancuria is a cute historical village and the house is right by the museum. Loren is a very responsive, accommodating and helpful host. Highly recommended.

An unpreposing frontage, but like the Tardis when I walked...

An unpreposing frontage, but like the Tardis when I walked in! A room with two single beds, bath/shower with mirror light. Spacious bedroom. With vestibule. These three with small windows, the rooms were dark, in traditional style for shade and comfort in hot weather. The television/ reading lounge was comfy with floor to ceiling windows. A really large kitchen and lounge space, light and airy, very well equipped, also with a large screen wall TV. Floor to ceiling sliding doors to lower terrace. A toilet and another with a bathroom here. Steps from the corner , where there was a wash off shower, led up to the top terrace with loungers and table chairs and stools. A view of the beach, ocean and Ajuy natural monument. A vehicle is needed for access, 1 bus? The Spar is 7 km away in Pajama. There are cafés and restaurants in Ajuy, but in January nothing after about 5pm. Very quiet at night.One bar/restaurant open until 8 but check on Google. Ideal for me, hired a car and was glad I didn't stay in the towns built for tourists along parts of the opposite coast. Depends what kind of holiday you like. Perfect for me.

A very quiet village with a few restaurants that only open...

A very quiet village with a few restaurants that only open during the day. Pretty peaceful at night but during the day it is a very popular spot. Parking it OK with two car parks, one at the top of the village and one down a dirt road at the beach. The one way system although small is completely incomprehensible, the residents mainly assume No Entry and one way signs to be advisory.
