Quiet place. Sea view. Swimming pool is big enough. Spacious and well organized room. A path down to the sea, to the natural swimming pools and than to the center of Puerto Nieves. Helpfull staff, all over the property. Architecture - a kind of garden, a kind of patio between cliff and hotel's rooms. Sky Bar on the top of hotel. Try their lunch menu!

Great place and super clean. The apartment has everything for a perfect stay. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in the right place. The highway is being built and some tunnels are already in operation. There is also a beach with fine sand nearby. However, we were by car and I can't give information about the buses. Thanks again for the warm hospitality of the hosts. Fast communication . Rating 10++++.

We spent most of our time in Puerto de Las Nieves which is just down from Agaete. Puerto de Las Nieves is a lovely little port with plenty of places to eat and a small but well stocked Spar. The views all around are spectacular, out to sea (fabulous sunsets) and up and across Mountain views. we would definitely return to this area.

This was a great location for our holiday in January.

This was a great location for our holiday in January. Agaete is not a tourist area but has access to walks from the apartment. Driving into the mountains to see tourist attractions and find other walking routes did take sometime due to the winding mountain roads. Great selection of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance in the harbour area and a short drive to Sardina Nord for a lovely beach.

Aguete is only ok, Puerto de las Nieves next to it where the ferry arrives is lovely. I would go there just to eat at Angor fish restaurant on the front by harbour. In fact if I was rich, I would be happy to fly there just to have dinner. There is a reason why it is often full when the ok restaurants neat it are not.

Accommodation was spotless with all the amenities you need...

Accommodation was spotless with all the amenities you need for self catering. Hot tub was superb in the evening watching the sun set. a good location to explore the top on the island and very easy to visit Las Palmas. A car is a must to enjoy the full delights that the north has to offer and with your own underground parking space it was very safe if returning late at night knowing you wont struggle with parking.

If you want to get a bit more remote and not in the high...

If you want to get a bit more remote and not in the high rise this is your spot. In the old town there's a few places to eat, don't leave it too lateen a Sunday or there's not much open. The port is fine, plenty of restaurants you'd expect on the quay. Loved the swim pools, discovered them on our second last day & would have used them and the promenade more had I known! The road south is great fun with epic views, but not for the faint hearted with tiny windy roads and potential rock falls if it's been raining. Nice spot, nearby coffee plantations a great day trip.

Fish restaurants in the Puerto area are all brilliant. Agaete town is quiet and sleepy, but lovely. Excellent coffee at the bakery. the Huertas de las Flores is a gorgeous and lush oasis of amazing trees and flowers. the municipal library is a wonderful community space. Excellent location and starting point for some really good hikes. Local public transport is really good. We took the local bus to Los Berrazales coffee place (finca la Laja), then walked back along the valley floor ('el valle' or 'el barranco'). Perfect place for a quiet holiday - lots of other visitors, but it is not a 'big resort' kind of place, just people who come for hiking and very good fresh fish!

Priceless views. Very comfortable apartment. Enough space for 4, preferable 2 adults + 2 children but would serve 4 adults as well. Spacious living room with kitchen and excellent outside area, small garden with sun chairs and terrass with table and chairs. Access to swimming pool with also stunning views. We had all we could need. Area is also perfect, close to port and center of the small town of Agaete, both ways 15-20 min walk. You gave parking place in the garage, waching machine etc. We would definitely come back.

Perfect location and free parking available close to the apartment. Also great town of Agaete which is very convenient point for visiting the island, especially northern part. Apartment has great amenities for families. Recommended.
