The hotel is a very interesting old building with character. Good on-site parking which is important in this little hill village. The breakfast that was included in the tarrif was huge, lots of food of good variety. Our room had a balcony with a great view of the citadel/castle.

At Alodia we had a SPLENDID 4 night stay where we enjoyed the lovely service by Claudia. Perfect booking communication with owner Eva. Toplocation with parking nearby. Beauitiful decorated room with mezzanine and with a balcony offering a awesome view on the old part of the city. Tasty breakfast ❤️.

The bungalow was basic but comfortable enough and we could take our dog. Nice terrace and views. The staff were very nice and spoke a little English which was helpful. The restaurant across the road was closed for holidays but we found a lovely place to eat on the town which was only a short walk away from the campsite.

Abiego is a village representative of many villages in Spain...

Abiego is a village representative of many villages in Spain. Its immediate proximity to points of interest in the Sierra de Guara (numerous hiking trails) is a major advantage. Two pleasant and useful shops (a grocery store and a restaurant) are a welcome addition.

The village shop sells local products, and there's a 24-hour emergency clinic, a municipal swimming pool, a collegiate church, an 18th-century convent (in ruins, but shrouded in mystery), a pharmacy, and more. It's well-connected to Huesca, Monzón, Barbastro, Alquézar, and other destinations.

Abiego was a delightful surprise, with its collegiate church...

Abiego was a delightful surprise, with its collegiate church and convent. Excellent location, near Alquézar and Adahuesca. Very well connected, and the recommendation for a meal nearby, at Casa Jesús, was outstanding! They were very understanding of our celiac disease. A real gem!

Apart from Casa Jesús, where the breakfast and lunch are fantastic, it's a lovely village with a bar and terrace near the church. There's also a shop with very good basic products. Of course, it's not a supermarket; for that, you have Barbastro, which is just a short distance away. It's very peaceful and pleasant, and the locals are very friendly. There's also a pharmacy.

The hotel, located at the entrance to the Sierra de Guara,...

The hotel, located at the entrance to the Sierra de Guara, is very inexpensive. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are well-equipped. The bed is 140cm but has a good mattress. Dinner is available on-site. The only downside was a very noisy meeting of local hunters at 7 am this Saturday morning in the ground-floor restaurant (the noise travels up to the guest rooms).

I really liked the peace and quiet, although the room was a...

I really liked the peace and quiet, although the room was a bit small for traveling with my pet. It would have been nice if the shower had stronger water pressure. We couldn't enjoy the pool because we couldn't even get to the sunbathing area with my dog, which was a shame because we really wanted to. But overall, we liked it 🙂
