The people there are very descent and the staff are humble and nice. The reception members were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and and the housekeeping staff was super. The weather is perfect and the beach is very good. The food was yummy and the resturant has a very nice vipes. Perfect place to enjoy your holiday. Thank you all 🩵

I can highly recommend this place, we had a really nice stay. The room was spacious and clean, super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, fair price. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and organized for us a quad desert tour, where we had a great time.

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was perfectly clean, with fresh towels and bathroom amenities provided. We were welcomed with a bowl of fruit and a stocked mini bar. The view from the comfy sofa on the balcony overlooking the pool was just stunning. What I appreciated the most was the 100% cleanliness, everything was spotless! The host was very kind and friendly.

Our stay at Porto Ghalib was truly enjoyable. The location is beautiful with direct access to the marina and a stunning beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food offered a good variety every day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The snorkeling experience was amazing we even saw sea turtles, which made our trip unforgettable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely come back again.

The place is small but pretty, with nice bars and restaurants and lots of opportunities for excursions. The restaurants offer good food, but it's a bit expensive for Egypt; you can tell that tourists are expected to pay more than usual.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

Some places offer excellent takeaway food. There is a public beach a little further away (a short walk across a small desert area) with exceptional underwater flora and fauna. Bring shoes for walking in the water. Please stay above or near the coral (personally, I didn't know there were risks to swimming too far from the reefs, namely sharks. But I didn't see any. On the other hand, there were some exceptional fish! Port Ghalib is a tourist spot but much, much quieter than Hurghada. If someone tries to sell you something, just say ‘La, chokram’ with a smile and everything will be fine. Don't forget to tip a little, as Egyptians earn very little (around €400 per month for a family of four). For activities, I recommend Royal Sea Tours (royalsea-tours.com), who are really great. Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK.

Nice place to stay for one week if the weather is OK. Very good place for snorkeling or you can watch coral reef directly in the harbor without being wet. Just bring slice of bead and you will see a lot.

We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy.

We were in Casa Mare Resort super happy. We came with our 3 years old daughter so we really appreciate that they have 3 very warm pools. 2 of them are huge and with a bar in it and the third very warm pool is safe for small kids who can't swim yet. Also Casa Mare has a big playground in the shade for kids. Aleso few hours per day is open Kids club with a really nice girl from the animation team. All of them are doing a very good job. Always trying to cheer you up all day long with animation programs. We came without a traveling agency and we haven't any agent, so  people in recepcion were always helpful and nice. You can easily ask them about everything through WhatsApp. Food was amazing. Chefs are doing a great job. Choice of food was huge and delicious. Casa Mare has a lagoon with shallow clear water, hot in summer  and also bridge to reef. Reef is big and rich in many kinds of fish. You don't need to pay any trips to snorkeling, it's right there. Place is also very good for kite surfing in winter. I was surprised how big our room was and we had a view on the pool and sea. I loved that. We always had the same man for cleaning. Every day he made our room super clean and tidy and when we met him in the hall it was always fun with him. Our daughter loved him, because every day he made for her animals from towels. We are definitely coming back. This place where our 4th hotel in Egypt and Casa Mare Resort was best from tham. Thank you all personal for a wonderful holiday.

Everything is up to the standard of a 5 stars hotel. All the staff is very helpful and ready to give you a hand at any time (starting from the reception staff, restaurant and cleaning service) so you can relax and enjoy the hotel. An enormous buffet in every meal and a lot of service in place (scuba diving; kite surf school, and more)

Value and price in the expensive port ghalib area is awesome. Big, nice rooms with all you need, including washing machine. Nice balcony’s with (in our case) marina-view where you can even watch marine life. Beds are comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beach access in walking distance with a voucher
