We had a wonderful stay here. Our room offered a stunning view of the Nile, and the view from the dining area is simply magnificent. The food was delicious — I honestly had the best falafel of our entire trip here. The hostess was incredibly helpful, assisting us with all our taxi bookings and organizing a tour to Elephantine Island with her daughter, who turned out to be the best guide we had in Egypt. She was extremely knowledgeable, and it was clear how much she genuinely loves history and culture, which made the experience even more special. The beds were very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed staying here and discovering a bit of Nubian culture along the way.

I had pleasure to staying at this hidden gem, it was like stepping into another world - one where time slows down, nature surrounds you. The island has its own farm, where people are welcome to pick fresh fruits and veggies- a true gift from the Nile. These vibrant ingredients become part of the meals we enjoyed. There are small boats and kayak available for guests to use, offering a sense of freedom and adventure. Recommend paddling to Seheil island with authentic Nubian village and fantastic view of Nile. Sherif and his team was incredibly thoughtful and generous. He not only coordinated activities on and around the island, but also create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that brought all the guests together. This was probably the best hotel on our trip! The staff were really helpful and kind, the rooms were so beautifully decorated and the location on the banks of the river was just out of this world. Most astonishingly, the hotel manager couriered our iPad to us from Aswan all the way to Alexandria free of charge after we left it in the room upon check-out. Really a delightful stay and we will certainly return to this gem!
