We were checked in earlier since the room was available. The room was comfortable, with a nice interior and a welcoming drink - water. The bed and pillows were also worth mentioning. The bathroom was pretty small but equipped with good soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Due to our room selection, coffee, tea, and some sweets were always available in the lobby. The breakfast was served as a buffet and was super nutritious and tasty. The location is good too. We travelled without a car, and it was important for us to have easy access to the nearby ski resort, so it was just a 20-minute walk and a few minutes from the city center. So, overall, I highly recommend this place, and if I visit Otepää again, I will definitely stay here. The place is very quite and peaceful. The service was extremely friendly, and we even received a gift - a jar of honey. Thank you very much!

It was an amazing house. I have stayed in several houses in Estonia so far, and this one could be the best. It was very clean and had everything we needed, including kitchen tools, a BBQ, firewood, clean towels, coffee, tea, etc. The sauna was fantastic—big enough for 5 people, and it's inside the house, which is much better than having a sauna in a separate cabin. The fireplace was great, easy to use, and the firewood was ready to use, heating the entire house wonderfully.(The house already has AC heating, and the fireplace just added to the warmth and coziness) There is a ski area just next to the house, and you can see people skiing from the house window. It is very close to Kuutsemae ski place, just a 15-minute drive. The host was very helpful and nice. I will definitely come back to stay here for more days next time. It would be amazing to stay there for 3-4 days.

The cottage has two levels, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom downstairs. Upstairs it's various sleeping beds. It was clean, kitchen with everything, bathroom is spacious with 2 person sauna, great location next to ski slopes. Different pillows can be requested. Great Fireplace with tons of wood. Tv with cable channels. Everything u need for a comfy stay. Lovely interior and great views from all windows. Very warm and friendly owners.

Cosy surroundings, fantastic location just few minutes from the lake where you can start your cross-counrty skiing at at a well maintained classical trail from this lake (Otepaa) to Kaariku for the first day. Also great classical trails along the famous Tartu Marathon. And a very kind host, Mati. Our stay was just fantastic. P.S. In Otepaa very well supplied Konsum Coop to do basic shopping.

We love Otepää & Pühajärve.

We love Otepää & Pühajärve. Fantastic central location in South Estonia. Plenty of hotels, apartments & guesthouses to rent. Perfect for taking day trips to surrounding areas & sites. Town itself is very pretty & has great grocery stores. People & service is exceptional. My husband had a headache, but in Estonia pharmaceuticals are only sold in pharmacies - no headache tablets in grocery stores or petrol stations etc. It was late in the evening and all pharmacies were closed. We went to the local petrol station in hopes to find some pain killers only to find out they are only sold in pharmacies, so the lady at the counter gave us some of her own headache tablets ♥️♥️♥️ I love wild swimming & Pühajärve lake has a great sandy beach + beautiful park for those who love walking. Plus there is a boat rental etc available. All in all a great place to enjoy nature 🪷🌿🤍

A really nice, atmospheric cottage in a quiet location, yet close to Otepää and its services. Nearby hotels are easily within walking distance if you like to visit a pub or restaurant. Nice yard for grilling and hanging out. The cabin was really clean and had good basic equipment. The hosts were really helpful and easily reachable nearby. The rooms are maybe a little smaller than expected, but the big sauna and spacious washroom were a good plus.

Overall the house was spacious and had all the kitchen / bedroom equipment mentioned on the page. It was clean and besides big terrace there was a nice balcony with nice view.
