Great hotel, I would say it is not only hotel, but village, with lots of sport things to do around, lots of sports fields, you can get equipment for rent, big territory, great staff, big and cozy rooms, great breakfast, we also ordered lunch and dinner and the prices are very low and the food is great. Definitely recommend the place!

The hotel is simply amazing: set in picturesque scenery with a 3-sided panoramic view over the Käärike lake and its surrounding forests, the mirror-walled cube house offers luxury and simplicity at the same time. It is decorated with much taste, quality furniture and equipment and a super comfortable bed, and is linked to a beautiful private sauna a few steps away. A lavish buffet breakfast is served in a nearby sports complex, which is worth climbing some steps even on a rainy morning to travel back in time and get the taste of childhood porridge (besides the more traditional breakfast). Many possibilities for sports activities available, good hiking trails. We enjoyed the possibility to rent (for extra cost) one of the two lakeside saunas, which I used to know in my childhood, and which offers a cherry-on-the-cake experience of Estonian sauna culture.

It was our first time in this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The house looks like a molehill from the parking lot side, but from inside it's anything but. The rooms open to the other side of the house, overlooking an inner courtyard. The public spaces were clean, our quadruple room was spacious and comfortable, had enough cupboards and not one, but two dryer cabinets for ski equipment. Bathroom as well was big and nice looking, floor heating made it super comfortable. Breakfast had a very good selection for a small hotel, from porridge, eggs prepared in multiple ways and sandwich material to selection of drinks and fresh bakery. The restaurant apparently provides lunch & dinner as well, which we didn't try. Alexela electric car chargers were <100m from the main entrance. Soundproofing reasonably good for a hotel. 24/7 reception and ample parking space.

We were checked in earlier since the room was available. The room was comfortable, with a nice interior and a welcoming drink - water. The bed and pillows were also worth mentioning. The bathroom was pretty small but equipped with good soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Due to our room selection, coffee, tea, and some sweets were always available in the lobby. The breakfast was served as a buffet and was super nutritious and tasty. The location is good too. We travelled without a car, and it was important for us to have easy access to the nearby ski resort, so it was just a 20-minute walk and a few minutes from the city center. So, overall, I highly recommend this place, and if I visit Otepää again, I will definitely stay here. The place is very quite and peaceful. The service was extremely friendly, and we even received a gift - a jar of honey. Thank you very much!

Peaceful location, we loved the professionally equipped community kitchen (suitable to even cook for groups). Coffee from freshly ground beans was well worth the one euro. Washing machine, tumble drier and friendly ginger cat were a big plus.
