This place was quirky and unusual with its unique architecture, waterfall running through and off the beaten path location. The restaurant staff was very kind and helpful and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the location. There was a lot to explore and do for the one night we stayed here and it was a great stopping point in our road trip.

"My wife and I recently stayed at The River House for a weekend getaway. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, and it was located in a perfect spot. It was close to everything we wanted to do, but it was also quiet and peaceful. The host was so friendly and helpful, and he made sure we had everything we needed. The host provided us with a welcome basket with fruits and drinks. The lodge was clean and well-maintained, fully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The luxury bed was amazing and so comfortable. The lodge was located in a forest, with trees all around. There was a beautiful creek running through the forest. There were many hiking trails in the area. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. We were able to see many different types of birds. The river was so refreshing. I was very impressed with the breakfast. The lodge offered a wide variety of healthy and delicious options, including exotic fruits, eggs, and chia empanadas. The food was all fresh and prepared to order, and the service was excellent. The lodge also had a great selection of coffee, and I enjoyed sitting in the dining room while watching the sunrise over the mountains. I had a great experience with the breakfast at the lodge, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy and delicious start to their day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying at The River House. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Puerto Quito."
