I visited with my 2 sisters for our first "Sis-caytion" and the resort was the perfect place for this special occasion. We bonded, dined, relaxed, partied, took beautiful pictures in this picturesque resort and explored Punta Cana! The staff named us "The Destiny's Child" lol. From the warm welcome, to the great entertainment options, cleanliness to the wonderful staff! I can say this is definitely worth the money. I expected a lot considering the expensive price but quite frankly it bit my expectations. Rooms and environment was cleaned around the clock, security was on point. They had something for everything. For an all inclusive, the quality of the food and drinks were 5* restaurant quality (especially if you eat at the restaurants). The breakfast buffet was amazing. We ate ate and ate until we could eat no more. The resort is so beautiful and honestly, whatever your vibe is, there is something for you. The staff- work like robots, so efficient and always on the job but always remain so friendly, happy and always willing to help or make you laugh. I hope they are getting paid well enough (because they deserve it). When you want peace and quiet, or if you want to party of meet people, they had something for you. I normally don't leave reviews but I just had to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The location was perfect with such a serene atmosphere. The food was great, and the resort looked spectacular at night. The staff at Florecita Restaurant helped us celebrate my younger daughter's birthday and one of them came wearing a costume and danced with her. We were all extremely happy.

Property, design, and “new hotel” feel: Modern, visually impressive, well designed, and in excellent natural surroundings. Location and beach access: Direct access to a long, connected beach; ocean/beach environment is a standout. Beach setup quality: Loungers/daybeds are good quality and the beach area is generally well maintained. Some staff did help once escalated: After repeated follow-ups, direct contacts were established and a portion of issues began to move toward resolution. Overall, our 3-day stay was superb. Our arrival and settling-in was efficient. All the staff were nice and we especially enjoyed talking to our waiter at dinner.. We stayed in a very large garden-view bungalow suite, with windows on three sides, allowing breezes to flow through so we never needed to use the air-conditioning. The grounds are very pleasant, with short paths full of butterflies, and lots of birds. Every day we used the pool and also played in the sea in front of the hotel, and walked for about 20 min to the other end of the beach to have lunch at one of the beach-side restaurants there. We also walked (less than 20 min) into Macao village and would have tried the food there if we had stayed longer. Breakfast at the hotel was good and the dinner menu had enough variety for us. Ultimately what made our stay feel truly unique and luxurious was the quiet and the fact that there were very few other guests (there are only 9 rooms and some were not occupied). We felt almost alone, with the whole place to ourselves. What could be more luxurious than that!

I've been staying at Hostal Johnnier for a whole month and got something to tell. The hosts Anjelica and Jorje are awesome -- the most hospital hosts I have met so far in my travels. Taught me a lot of funny spanish words! Were nice and attentive. They put I really enjoyed Bueno Desayuno breakfasts - the fruits, and eggs with toasts charged me with the energy for the whole day. A great caffee nearby (Marina/Alex place) is also an advantage. Great quality/price, open 8-24, everything is tasty, highly recommended. A nearby shop (Mercado Perla) is good, did not have problems buying things I needed. A beach is quite close with a 5-minute walk, there you will find all you need - the Sand and the Ocean. Its generally windy, but that is great when its hot. It is important that it is safe to wander alone even for the female guests, unlike some of the other public Dominican beaches. The people who were staying there were awesome, too. I have a theory that everyone goes there because of positive reviews and looking for a good company - well, there always was someone to have a small talk with, I even made some friends there I could meet any other time! Free secret bonus are dogs. I don't like dogs, but those ones were safe and friendly.
