Salz Cozy Inn, hotel in Roseau

Located in Roseau, Salz Cozy Inn provides accommodation with seating area. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge.

The property is a nice 3-room pension, one of the few in Trafalgar, in the middle of important sites to be visited. Host was very forthcoming, helpful and did extra's over what was to be expected. It is of course a mountain situation, so expect no AC, swimming pool or restaurant, but there is a nice shared patio kitchen with table where you can meet the other tenants. Very good value for money.

Nature and Adventure is a must for me so hence me coming to Dominica. Scotts Head;OMG that place is like a Paradise very beautiful, your waterfalls beautiful and COLD, SCREWS; that hot spring was really relaxing and nice. THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY; DO NOT GO THERE the Lady was 10/10 unpleasant the minute we arrived her face was unpleasant, I introduced myself & was hoping for an introduction but none,I asked a question she steups and turn off her face so the others who were with me walked off I remained because I have patience like job. She didn't even want me touch the pack of chocolate to read the ingredients far less ask her about the Chocolate,I asked her if she is not feeling well because as humans we can be irritated or uncomfortable if working and feeling sick her response was "I'm feeling good" so I was confused why all the ATTITUDE. I told her I'm not doing the tour I'm just buying Chocolates, I would have bought 15 Chocolate to carry back home for family and friends but her ATTITUDE, she walked off on me and I was CONFUSED and that's when my patience ended and I had to open my mouth. YOU CANNOT TREAT tourist who coming to your place of business like that, other tourist who were there told one of the Lady who were with me they are NOT BUYING because the lady has an attitude and she didn't do her anything. Tell me CHOCOLATE FACTORY how can you have workers who are unpleasant to customers. I even asked her DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO BUY FROM YOU or It's the other way around? HER ATTITUDE STINKS and I would be telling everyone DO NOT GO WHERE THEY MAKE CHOCOLATE in Dominica unless you get someone who is pleasant and put her to the BACK where she doesn't have to greet tourist. That attitude can upset your entire trip to Dominica....UNACCEPTABLE

A charming town with a lot of character, especially from the old stone and wooden buildings which are still in great shape. There's a lot to see in Dominica's capital - from the National Museum to the Botanical Gardens to old buildings like the Bishop's Residence. Also, there are several places where you can get great food - Smoothylicious and the Rendezvous Restaurant come to mind as well as delicious local drinks.

The photos do not do justice to the house, and I told Lessie that he needs better photos to show how much more light there is, how everything is new and well done in the house. Lessie is very helpful, communicates quickly and overall a great host. The house is in the very green and lush part of the island , and within walking distance to the Trafalgar falls (not an easy walk on the knees). Everything in the house us provided, even more than basic toiletries, which makes it the best house we stayed at on our long trip on multiple islands.

Our stay was wonderful. Lessie was a very responsive and gracious host. He greeted us upon arrival and was so kind to have fresh coconut water ready for us. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything you could need for a short or semi-long stay. It's best to have a car or some form of transportation if you stay here, but it really is a good location to get to all the sites in the area quickly. We enjoyed it very much!

The owners, Carol and Phil work so hard to make sure everything is just right. They served delicious meals, made sure everything in the room was in perfect working order and helped us decide on the best activities in the area. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and their helpful, positive attitude was the key.

Large replacement accommodation, which was not in Roseau the original choice but a lovely large place nonetheless with nice views. Electronic car entrance gate for the hire car. Outside of periods of the barking dogs, a very quiet area. This was place was found at short notice so we were very grateful for it.

We ended up booking a room here after a ferry mix-up meant we had an extra day in Dominica. We had already returned our rental car so we chose a hotel within walking distance from the port (500m). Beautiful room and pool. Friendly staff.

The location is excellent, it is right on the water front on the main street of the capital Roseau. The room was modern, well equipped, comfortable and clean. The staff were polite but a little overworked, possibly more staff required.

Its closeness to the sea for ocean viewing. Away from the noisy city into a quiet but accessible suburb. It has the potential to be a great hotel when renovation is completed. Average room with its own patio great for viewing.

Not really the best place in Dominica, we stayed here for one night just to catch the boat the day after, luckily we didn't stay longer. Air conditioning working well and wifi too, the only positive points we could find here
