Præstø is a nice little town.

Præstø is a nice little town. Shopping options for groceries are fine, but there aren't many other interesting shops. No parking difficulties. We ate primitively in our room, so we could drink wine with the food. We lived outside the city.

This Hotel is different, and there are two reasons: 1) Anette and Filip are really nice and you really like staying in their hotel. They make a different to most other hotels. They are so nice. Really. 2) The hotel is not just any building. It is an old rectory and Anette and Filip have spent much time on so many small details making the whole hotel and surrounding so “hyggelig”. The view from breakfast room is fantastic.

The bright white farm house, dating back a century, is beautifully decorated with a collection of fine antiques and carefully selected pieces of art. The owner, Christian, is a considerate host who cares about his guests. The scenic countryside and the nearby charming little Præstø make Jungshovedgaard an ideal destination for short getaways.

Self service (no staff) apartment hotel. There are 4 rooms for guest who all use two bathrooms, kitchen and dining area. Big plus, they have washer, dryer and detergents you can use. All very clean and efficient.
