Aggershoj is a really special place. Line has thought about every detail and presents everything beautifully. Beds are comfortable, great showers, lovely breakfast. But just relaxing in all the communal spaces they have created is the real joy. We were there for our son's wedding and they were so helpful and kind and generous with their time and advise.

Very lovely and cozy house in the middle of the nicest village/ town. The house was very clean and spacious and all the stores and restaurants are at walking distance. We really enjoyed our night there before our wedding on the island and we.hope to go back there some day :)

Everything is good. Large room and washroom ( looks like it is converted from a care home facility) nice view of the sea. Good breakfast included and we had dinner at the hotel one night and it was good service.

I think it's a bit misleading, when you book two rooms you...

I think it's a bit misleading, when you book two rooms you book rooms on different floors and the shared toilet and shower thing is just too poor, one toilet on each floor is too little for all the rooms

Marstal is a town that is often forgotten in favor of...

Marstal is a town that is often forgotten in favor of Ærøskøbing. But that's a shame, because Marstal is also cozy, and also has a bit more local life. The bike ride from Ærøskøbing to Marstal is very beautiful and is highly recommended. An evening bike ride out to Ommelshoved to watch the sunset is also recommended.

I was born on Ærø, but moved a long time ago. This weekend I just had to show a few friends the ENTIRE island! They liked Marstal, Voderup Klinter, Bregninge Church, Søbygårds Volde, Vitsø, Søby, Skjoldnæs Lighthouse and Ærøskøbing.

The atmosphere at the harbor and on the pedestrian street...

The atmosphere at the harbor and on the pedestrian street was good and cozy. The Maritime Museum was interesting. The small fast food cafes were dingy and the food was overcooked. The famous Ærø pancakes at Mrs. Berg's by the harbor were a disappointment. Generally high prices for a better meal in town

A cozy "old town center" with interesting alleys and small houses. Seems like a town where there have been "working people". Very quiet in May, interesting history with the harbor, shipbuilding, church, museum. Great shopping opportunities. Nice places to eat

Exciting city, which oozes old shipping. We enjoyed walking in the narrow streets and alleys. Great places to eat (FEMMASTEREN) A big MUST!! The Maritime Museum it is so impressive 5 Stars. The whole atmosphere in the city friendly people who greet us. Also visit the church with no less than 7 naves. All in all a city that must be experienced

Really welcoming and friendly hotel, staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was a highlight with heaps of fresh fruit , cold meats and cheese, eggs and delicious bread. Setting was perfect, close to harbour and ferry.
