Our stay was perfect! The room was very beautiful, good decorated with a lot of details, clean and with great view to the Opera house. The air conditioner works perfect. The pillows and the sheets were more than comfortable and you will get the joyful rest after the long walks in the city. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of bread, croissants, eggs, vegetables, yogurt etc. The coffee was very good as well. The staff was kind and always smiling.

Copenhagen was not part of my original itinerary- my friend (who lives in Dublin, Ireland) and I met up there because we were on a waitlist to get tickets to the Radiohead concert. We did not get tickets, however, Copenhagen was a very pleasant surprise. It was easy to walk to and from the hotel (located in Frederiskberg) as that location was close to Tivoli Gardens and walking distance to Nyhavn, Torvehallerne Food Market, the Hans Christian Andersen Christmas Market, etc. Of all the European cities I've visited, Copenhagen is the city that felt safest in terms of walking at night for female tourists. Torvehallerne Food Market and the shops/dining at Tivoli Gardens were amazing. The Planetarium and Danish Architecture Center are a must-visit.

Best way to experience Copenhagen is to walk and walk,...

Best way to experience Copenhagen is to walk and walk, though local transport is good too. Visit some of the palaces, they are really worth it. And Roskilde, a short train ride away, is an absolute must if you want to experience the Vikings. With regard to travel on local transport and regular trains, I highly recommend the app "rejsekort". No need to buy any tickets, just tell the app how many passengers are travelling, then slide the "Checkin" button on the app when you start your journey and slide the "Checkout" button when you end your journey and the app works out the best price for getting from A to B and takes that off your preferred paying method (card, etc.). Vidunderlig!

Our first visit to Copenhagen but hopefully not our last.

Our first visit to Copenhagen but hopefully not our last. Clean, friendly and with a mass of interesting history all around it, wrapped up with an amazing public transport system. Ignore those who say it is an expensive city to visit -those coming from the UK will no longer notice the difference!!

Loved Copenhagen, I felt like I was coming home.

Loved Copenhagen, I felt like I was coming home. It had such a nice feel to it. I took my 11 year old daughter and she loved it too, she even said she could move there as she liked it so much. We visited in December and everywhere was so festive. I would happily return again and spend more time visiting galleries, museums and other areas. I can’t wait to return one day.

Beautiful city with lots to do.

Beautiful city with lots to do. Especially during this time of the year it is wonderful there, you will join to many christmas markets, which are not to big nor to small. The gluhwein is delicious. You will have the chance to visit a lot of different kind of museums. The boat tour itself is a good choice to have a taste of Copenhagen, and when the guide is funny enough you will enjoy a lot while learning useful informations and history. Shopping is also very comfy. You will find lots of different foods and coffee shops. You have to taste the danish food smorbrod. You can start to have a taste view at Rørt Torvehallerne. You will find lots of different tastes there. If you have enough time and the weather is ok you have to visit the surroundings as well. In the evenings you can enjoy live music at a blues bar. We were at Mojo bar twice. The music, the atmosphere was great. The transportation is also very good. You will have access to everywhere. Overall enjoy the architecture, the calm of the city, but with lots of energy. Dont forget to hang around in Christiania or take a walk on Amager Strand.

Great location! Near Tivoli and the famous Stroget shopping street and look out for Doner Kebab restaurant on Stroget street. It's been around forever and my husband craves it every year. We've stayed in many hotels in Copenhagen throughout the years and this is our favorite. Historic design by Arne Jacobsen. Try to book the Arne Jacobsen Suite.

The location was good, not far from the railway station and city centre attractions. Copenhagen is a beautiful city. The hotel itself was clean and efficient: everything you expect from a corporate hotel. In terms of cost, we've stayed in independent hotels that are just as good or better, for significantly less money.
