Such a beautiful city with great restaurants and friendly people. We just walked around and didn't really visit anything specific apart from the little Mermaid which is quite little. The architecture is so wonderful that I didn't feel the need to visit museums.

Copenhagen is a lovely city to walk around as as there is always something interesting around the corner. It balances old and new very well and seems to have more than it's fair share of palaces and museums. The centre is compact and it's easy to travel around and there are wonderful bakeries everywhere where you can get coffee and excellent pastries or sandwiches. It's not a cheap city to eat out in but the food is very good and the food halls are excellent places to explore. It does get a bit busy down by the main tourist areas such as Nyhavn, even in the autumn, but it's not too crowded (it may be different in the summer) and it's easy to wander around away from the main crowds.

Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. So many great places to explore, from the cozy harbor area with its quaint little restaurants to nice department stores, churches, museums etc. The people are incredibly friendly and there is so much to do. Be aware though that you definitely need a credit card. Pretty much everyone asks you to pay with that, even small market stands selling roasted almonds. We didn't bring any Danish Kronen, and didn't need them either. Tips usually are included in prizes, we only had one restaurant where you were able to add a tip during the payment. This is such a beautiful town with so much to see, and much of it can be explored by foot or with the convenient public transport system. Definitely worth a trip!

I am of course biased as I was born in Copenhagen, but have lived the last 60 years outside Denmark, but try to get home if not once a year then regularly. Copenhagen is one of the most walkable cities like Prague and Madrid, and has excellent public transport by S-Train, Metro, Bus and even boat. (And of course bicycle)]. If you want to try to New Modern Nordic Cuisine which NOMA started (voted the Worlds Best restaurant several times and now Geranium is voted for 2 years in a row the best) . You can find this at affordable prices at Hoest, Vaekst etc. and remember the price you see on the menu is the price you pay. No added value tax which is 25% in Denmark nor 18-20% gratuity added to the bill. There are about 3 High Rises in Copenhagen and contrary to f.ex. New York the roofs you can see from 30M (90') are actually beautiful. I can go on and on about the great museums, Tivoli and Bakken (both interesting amusements park (Entrance to Bakken in free). You can easily spend a week in/around Copenhagen incl. Roskilde, Helsingoer (Hamlet's castle) and then you have not yet seen the lovely country side on Zealand, Fyen (Hans Christian Andersen and the famous Danish composer's hometown) - or the might of Jutland peninsular - with one of the highest "mountains" in Denmark - Himmelbjerget (The Mountain of Heaven) in all its 147M height) and the wonderful most Northern town in Denmark - Skagen with its famous Skagen painters - and Grenen where Kattegat and Skagerrak (seas) meets I can go on and on and on. .

Can't beat the first weekend of Christmas Tivoli.

Can't beat the first weekend of Christmas Tivoli. Love Copenhagen. Be ready for a busy Ströget, but just breath in....out, repeat as needed. Do not miss out on Nyhavn. Make reservations for dinners. Rent a bike.

The location is good for travelling to the station, it's barely 5 mins walk from the hotel and very close to the city centre. Smart bar area that serves a variety of drinks. Nice aesthetic downstairs that doesn't quite make it into the rooms. If you like a party and don't need to get lots of sleep, or noise does not bother you much, it will be a good fit for you. It is a very reasonable price for Copenhagen with decent room sizes.

Great little hotel, away from the touristic area but very well connected with the city centre and the airport, in a safe neighbourhood. Breakfast was very good, with great variety and good quality food. Staff were very nice and friendly. The room was quite small but it worked for us for a short stay. It was quiet and clean, perfect for a short trip without breaking the bank in the very expensive Copenhagen

Location was great! The hotel is situated opposite a metro station and is a 5-minute walk away from the central railway station (direct trains to Copenhagen airport and Malmo, Sweden), as well as Tivoli theme park. City centre is very close.
