An absolutely outstanding piece of architecture. Fabulous balcony rooms and classical Danish interiors - if i could i would live in this hotel permanently. Location is quite and beautiful. The city square is quant and full of character. The deer park is a pleasure to walk through and the men at sea statues and marine museum wonderful. Area around the hotel is very quiet with two bars that have a through back to the 1980s vibe. We caught a train direct from Copenhagen to Esbjerg - lovely comfortable journey.

This hotel is in Varde, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre and an hour’s journey from Billund Airport and Legoland Theme Park.

Everything was delightful. We had a great experience staying at the Britannia Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and quickly resolved any issues.
