The tiny holiday house was truly special and exceeded our expectations by far. You could feel a personal touch everywhere, it was nicely decorated for Easter. The family was very welcoming. The tiny house is on a family property but has enough privacy and loads for the kids to play with, especially outside. If we return to this area, Karlchens Finnhütte is definitely the place to stay at! Thank you family Potschka!

The location was in an area of Rostock on the waterfront but tucked away so that you had beautiful views a few metres from the hotel of the warnow end of the harbour. You could watch the wildlife and people canoeing and paddle boarding. Parking was free and easy and a pathway meant you could walk or cycle into town within 10 minutes. The room was excellent, spacious with a balcony which we enjoyed to sit out on. A good bathroom and shower cubicle. A good choice of breakfast options and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

This was one of the nicest accommandation we even stayed in, and we've traveled a lot through the years. Everything felt very much five star and what a beautiful house it was! With quite a history also if you asked the wonderful hosts. And they also had a superb breakfast also, of course. When we come back next time near Rostock, we won't consider somewhere else.

Very calm, quiet and nature-close environment which I loved. The staff was amazing in both the front desk and restaurant. The rooms is very sound isolated and they offered small things like bathrobs, a fresh cut rose in the bathroom and coffe-maker in the room which gave a extra gold lining on the stay. The breakfast is very good. But once again, the staff deserves 10/10. This hotel made me like Germany!
