We had an incredible stay at a charming hotel in Murgtal, where the super friendly and welcoming couple managing the property made us feel valued and right at home. The impeccably clean rooms showcased their dedication to maintaining a pristine environment, and their thoughtfulness was evident when they provided us with a bottle of water for our hiking trip when the supermarkets were closed. The reasonably priced and delicious breakfast spread further enhanced our experience. We highly recommend this exceptional hotel in Murgtal, where the warm hospitality, immaculate accommodations, thoughtful gestures, and satisfying breakfast surpassed our expectations. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely choose to stay at this remarkable hotel once again.

One of the serviceable, clean and pleasant hotels we have been to. The location is excellent, close to the city center and the Carcalla bath. Spacious, pleasant and very clean rooms. The breakfast is indulgent, varied and delicious. The hotel staff is helpful, smiling and kind, responding at all hours with courtesy and professionalism. I must mention the extraordinary help of Miriam from the reception who took care of VIP entrance to the Caracalla baths for us, who reserved places for us in excellent restaurants far beyond what we expected.

What a little gem of a Bed & Breakfast! A gracious, warm welcome and immaculate housekeeping, garaging for my motorcycle, a beer on the balcony overlooking the wooded Murg valley and with a busy little stream rushing down bside the house made for a truly relaxing stop. In the morning I enjoyed a good Black Forest breakfast. Well done!

Cute old style German house turned into a hotel. They don't speak English but managed to communicate with me somehow. Very cozy place and great staff, they even prepared an omelette for me for breakfast and accepted to change my stay date for free (my car broke down on the way there, so I arrived one day later than planned). Cute little German town, you feel like you're in a Sound of Music movie set! Supermarkets and restaurants are reachable by walking.

While not as pristine nature as the Hochschwarzwald, the town of Weisendorf & the whole way along the river Murg has interesting views - historic villages, beautiful half-timbered houses, the rushing river & the local industry. Hotel Grüner Baum has not only good views of the river, but lies centrally in town. Breakfast is good, the Italian restaurant is typical South Italian thanks to the owners being from Apulia.

Friendly and hospitable staff always with a smile; they made us feel comfortable. The room was clean and the breakfast was tasty with excellent coffee. We also dined at the restaurant of the hotel and we found it delicious with good beer.
