The "Gemuetliches Haus" - cozy house! - was such a quaint, lovely stay in the heart of Vallendar. Located right in the pedestrian area, cafes and restaurants were right around the corner. You are actually truly renting a house: kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, bedroom one on the second, and bedroom two on the third level. The entire space was spotless, the bedrooms very spacious, cozy and modern, and the kitchen is a nice gathering space. I booked this place to accompany my son while settling into his semester abroad, and felt the accommodation set us up perfectly for an instant immersion into German culture.

A very functional and modern hotel. Just like in the photos. The location was chosen because we wanted to be close to the train station. A bit far from the Altstadt and city centre, but we didn't mind taking a walk. However the next morning it was raining so we took a bus to see the Deutsches Eck. There are buses right outside the hotel by the central station, which is convenient.
