The accommodation is part of the building you see on the photos, which sits in a small valley at the end of a long gravel road -- it is truly an idyll. It is a studio, basically one large room on the first floor (outside staircase, independent entrance), with a kitchen corner and a bathroom. It is very cosy, with a wonderful view; the kitchen is small but well equipped for breakfast, simple meal or to prepare for a grill outside. There is a wonderful large garden, with various spots to sit, eat, and enjoy the surrounding views and sounds. You are truly away from the world, but at the heart of a region where there is much to see and enjoy, such as Ottobeuren, with its abbey church and wonderful museum, at about 15 minutes away, or the Elbsee, a swimming lake with view of the Alps. Angelika is very hospitable and helpful, and discreet, a great host!

It was simply wonderful. Mr.

It was simply wonderful. Mr. Böck was a very kind, friendly, and helpful landlord. The accommodation was exceptionally spacious. From Untrasried, you can easily reach many beautiful lakes. Everyone should visit the Gasthaus Bären. It's a real gem. You can hike from the house on all sides.
