Bad Königshofen, with its well-known large swimming complex...

Bad Königshofen, with its well-known large swimming complex (FrankenTherme), is not far away. Bad Neustadt (Bavaria) and Meiningen (Thuringia) are also easily accessible. Kreuzberg and Wasserkuppe are worth a visit. I can't say anything about Sulzfeld as we were just passing through.

A small village right on the edge of the Hassberge hills.

A small village right on the edge of the Hassberge hills. There's a lovely bathing lake with its own restaurant right on the village's outskirts. The village also has a small grocery store. There are several restaurants, though not open every day. Ideal for hiking, cycling, and swimming.

A charming little place that invites you to stroll in every direction. From the Madonna grotto in the beautifully maintained cemetery to the delicious food at the Bärental country inn, there are many ways to find peace and quiet away from the stresses of family life or work. We didn't manage to visit Ravensburg Castle, but it's supposed to be quite worth seeing.

Many thanks to the hosts; we received a very warm welcome. Everything went smoothly, the room was very clean and well-furnished. The best part was the breakfast—very plentiful and varied, delicious, and served by an extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful staff member. Our dachshund, Jola, was also welcome.
