I have travelled around 10 different countries and booked around 30 different hotels during this year but the Niu Flower in Konstanz is definetly the best among all, amazing hotel in every detail. Faboulous design, perfect combination of style, I enjoyed everything in the hotel, the beds were really comfortable, hot and cold shower 24/7, perfect location - the bus stop is immediately at the hotel entrance, lobby was very comfortable, enjoyed playing table football and also there is a photography machine where you can take photos as memories.

The position of the hotel is overlooking a fabulous lake. They have a lovely outdoor restaurant with outdoor lights for evening meals and it looks amazing. The room was lovely and clean and overlooked a courtyard below. Bathroom was clean and bright. Staff were lovely and friendly at the front desk and checking is was easy and fast. It is walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops and lovely wine bars overlooking the lake. The breakfast was vast and plentiful, it had everything you could ask for. I think this is the best choice for solo-travelers and history lovers. The hotel is exactly in the centre - the old city is around you. There are many cafes around and the bus/train stop is pretty close. The home where the hotel is located is near 500 years old and is very atmospheric. My room was small but very cosy. The staff at the hotel is very friendly - they introduced me to the city's main attractions and bus stops. If you're searching for historic places and adventures, this could be the best place for you.

The interior design was spectacularly well done. The room was very comfortable, it even had a rocking chair, and tea and coffee was available in the lobby at all times. The rooms had triple glazing and no traffic could be heard. The city of Konstanz offered free travel with public transport as part of any stay, making it easy to get around. The hotel issued the pass. While the hotel was a bit outside of the city centre, it was easy to get into town with the free bus ticket.
