I had an incredible stay! Everything about this hotel feels calm, clean, and surrounded by nature. The location is perfect — peaceful, green, and just a short drive from Bastei National Park. You wake up to pure silence and fresh air, it’s the ideal place to relax and recharge. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated in a cozy, natural style that makes you feel instantly at home. Every detail is well thought out, and the overall cleanliness is outstanding. You can tell that the staff really care about maintaining a high standard. The restaurant was another highlight — every meal was simply delicious, with great ingredients and beautiful presentation. The staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help. Everything from staff to the size of the room, location, wide selection of breakfast choices and local specialities, etc was perfect. Didn't expect that everything will be at such a high quality. Loved the view from the room and the little balcony, stunning location and the building itself full of history and charm. Although pool was a bit cold for the time of the year, the facilities were great and my partner still managed to enjoy a refreshing swim in the morning. Cosy spa too. Had a dinner booked at the restaurant one night and the service and meal was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful place in Bad Schandau - I wish to be a guest in the future.

Sebnitz is a small town, and the Saxony Festival took place there over the weekend of September 5th-7th, 2025. There were some road closures, but overall everything was well-organized. Sebnitz has several restaurants; we particularly liked the Kirchklause and the Bergkeller. Both restaurants offer good food for under €20, and the beer is nicely chilled.

Sebnitz is a good starting point for hikes and excursions into Saxon Switzerland. It's quiet and well-connected by bus and train. It's a shame that many of the old and beautiful houses that characterize the townscape are empty and slowly falling into disrepair.

Sebnitz is a pretty small town with good restaurants and grocery stores. The Museum of Artificial Flowers is worth a visit. Thanks to excellent train and bus connections, Sebnitz is a superb starting point for hikes in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Public transport is free with the guest card.

Sebnitz is my mother's hometown.

Sebnitz is my mother's hometown. For her 85th birthday, we went back and retraced her steps. It was wonderful. We went everywhere. The apartment's central location also made it easy to explore the surrounding area. Even a short trip to the Czech Republic for a meal was great. It's less than 10 minutes away.

The main day of our stay was Sunday (arrival on Saturday evening - departure on Monday late morning), and on Sunday the devil says goodnight. As in any German town at this time of year, however, the surroundings of Sebnitz and the opportunity to admire Saxon Switzerland made up for the stay.

Sebnitz is a small town offering many museums, activities, and shopping opportunities. It's a great starting point for beautiful hikes. Its proximity to the Czech Republic, with its additional shopping options and affordable restaurants, is a definite plus. I highly recommend this place. the apartment is clean, really tidy and has a very well-equipped kitchen. very large comfortable bed. the advantage is that it is an apartment and not a hotel room, so it is quiet, you cannot hear other guests. 2 minutes to the bus stop (we got a discount on public transport in the apartment) and the owner speaks English, which is very helpful. additionally, a sauna - it's a great atmosphere! :)

A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. We spent a few days in Saxony with a group of friends, staying at the Hotel Brückenschänke in Sebnitz. Beautiful hotel and well located for exploring the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who let us store our bikes in their bike shelter in-between rides. Clean, spacious room and a comfortable bed. Decent breakfast - enough to fuel a 90km cycle ride! Would highly recommend!
