Exceptional hotel! Big, very clean room. Big, very clean bathroom. The proximity to the old city ca 6 min walking. Very helpful reception. Very comfortable bad. The breakfast was very tasty, variety of food was for us sufficient. We enjoyed our stay greatly!

Great location in old town area, making it easy to walk to all attractions and an abundance of restaurants, cafes and shops. This hotel is a very interesting mix of historic and modern with lots of art works and colour. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable with a well-equiped kitchenette. Breakfast was very nice. * Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean, with doors leading directly out to an intimate artrium equippet with tables and chairs that the guest were free to use. * Breakfast was very good, with eggs made ready on demand, and with a great variety of all kinds of food one can wish for on a breakfast table. (And staying in a room next to the brekfast room, I must say that waking up to the smell of fresh, warm bread turned out to be a very good experience.) * The hotel is in a few minutes walking distance from central Bamberg, far enough from the centrum to be situated in a quiet neighbourhood, and near enough so that one can reach all tourist attractions in central Bamberg by foot. * Last, but not least: The staff is very, very friendly and helpful, and all of them make a stay in this hotel a very good experience.

Room was super nice. I don't know whether they upgraded me, but I had two double beds in my room, rather than the single room I booked. So, it was really spacious and luxurious compared to some places I had stayed at. Underfloor heating which heated the room really well, great bathroom, good sized closet, good location.

The location is great! Close to the city center and old town, bus stops, the main bus station, markets, shopping points, restaurants, river bank, pharmacies, bakeries... Kind and helpful staff. Even their working time is not 24 hours, you can reach them by phone, they always try to resolve the issue and help. New things inside their rooms, clean, tidy, big rooms, comfortable bed, big toilet, big TV, great AC (air conditioning), two sofas which could be transformed into beds for two people. Walls are not tiny, construction of the building is great, sound isolation also, so we couldn't hear other guests or traffic from the main street. Nice view of the city from windows (the highest floor). Really perfect place! Also, we arrived earlier, before check in time, and we left in the afternoon, after check out time... but staff was so kind and provided some space for our luggage close to the reception. We didn't use breakfast service and parking, so we cannot comment that. As a recommendation and way to attract more guests, maybe it will be a good idea to provide some discounts or coupons/vouchers for longer stays or for guests who would like to come back again, since the prices are not very affordable and it is one of the expensive hotels in Bamberg.
