The location is excellent, a few minutes walk to the entrance to Europa Park.
Clean and comfortable room.
The breakfast was nice. Not very varied, but very tasty.
We did not use the offer, but they have a fridge in the common lounge, offering some juices and beer at a more than decent price (the beer was 2.5 EUR per bottle).
Rather unusual, the checkin is planned in the morning (before 13:00), however they did send a detailed message in advance and also repond to the telephone (I used German, because I speak it fluently). They have dedicated safety boxes with a PIN outside of the building so there was absolutely no problem that we arrived at 19:30 instead of before 13:00. You do have to announce that in advance.
This family-friendly, 3-star hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Europapark theme park in Rust.

I loved the theme of the hotel. Its very cozy and relaxing. The breakfast room was really big and I would recommend to go at an early time for breakfast to avoid the rush. It’s really good that the hotel is connected to the water park and that the parking fee was included into the price of your stay.

Europa Park Thrills and Black Forest Hills
Set between the Rhine River and the Black Forest, Rust is a small German town that is best known for its huge Europa Park. The largest theme park in Germany, it only comes second behind Disneyland Paris as Europe’s most popular amusement park.
The park’s 16 themed zones contain a variety of high-adrenaline rides as well as attractions better suited to younger children. There are also shows, a 4D cinema and various eating
establishments all over the complex.
In addition to the elaborately designed hotels within Europa Park, Booking.com has a fantastic range of Rust accommodation including hotels with outdoor pools, apartments with parking, and cheap guest houses.
However, this is of course not the only reason to visit. The Baden-Württemberg region offers some wonderful cycling routes, and the hills to the east of Rust are also popular for hiking.
The town is located less than 1 hour’s drive from the Black Forest spa resort of Baden-Baden and the colourful city of Freiburg. Each route passes by lush vineyards and little towns with half-timbered houses. Historic Strasbourg is over the border with France to the north, while Basel to the south is a lesser-known Swiss gem.

Rust is just for Europa Park visits, and does not offer much for other expectations. But EP is very amazing, especially for families. A 2-day visit was ideal for us, but depending on the kids' ages and joy, a few more days can be worth it. (Also parents have joy, too!)

Rust is a fantastic little town in South West Germany.
Rust is a fantastic little town in South West Germany. Plenty of eateries, bars and bakeries. Europa Park, Germanys biggest, and probably one of the best Theme Parks in the world is on its doorstep, as is Rulantica Water Park.
Good base for Europa/Rulantica and visiting Black Forrest.

The great secret about visiting Europa Park with the family...
The great secret about visiting Europa Park with the family is the adjacent town of Rust. You can either sit in the traffic jam that morning with the entire rest of south western Germany, Switzerland and France, or you can stay the night before with the family, have a leisurely breakfast and then either catch the local bus over or walk, depending on your hotel's location. It's nicer than the Europa Park parking experience, and staying in Rust gives you somewhere to collapse with the family after a long day on the rides. There's hotels with parking, supermarkets for the essentials and cheap family restaurants. It feels like a cheat code few others have found yet for an enjoyable stay.

Rust is geared around Europa Park and Rutlantica.
Rust is geared around Europa Park and Rutlantica. We should have hired a car as unless we were in the parks there was very little to do. The parks are fabulous and great fun, we had a blast in them and will be back. The people of Rust are really friendly, there are plenty of places to eat on a night however nothing is open through the day for food (apart from one kiosk outside the front gates).
Rust is very pretty but quiet.

One half of our group spent 2 days at Europapark but the queues were at least an hour long for each ride, for a ride which was 1’. Saying that though, it was a public holiday on the Thursday. When we drove off on Friday, not a public holiday, the traffic jams coming into Rust from every highway as horrendous….
The other half of us rode our MTBs to Schwarzwald (30’ by bike away), which was amazing with beautiful trails and bakeries along the way to stop at.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. the air conditioning in the lounge and one bedroom was appreciated and the shower was good. It was in a an amazing location only 5 mins walk to 2 supermarkets, 5 mins walk to the Europa Park hotels and 15ish minute walk to Europa Park entrance. we arrived really late and nothing was open but there was a pizza vending machine opposite where we could get something to eat! The owners were responsive and met us late to check in and allowed us to stay a little later on check out day.
This clean, well appointed 1 bedroom apt, with beds for six and a functional kitchen, in the basement of the house owned by the hosts, on a quiet street, only a 5 min walk to Rust shuttle bus stop (5 min bus ride to Europa Park/Rulantica). Anita and her daughters were amazing hosts. They speak excellent English and were so helpful in arranging transportation to/from train station. They provided great info and even helped me setup a German Sim Card in my phone. Highly recommend for families visiting Rust for Europa Park.
Very easy check in. We kept in touch using Booking, com messages during our journey to Rust and were met at the property. Apartment is clean, and the bedrooms extremely comfortable. There was confortably plenty of room for 2 teenagers, 2 parents and 2 grandparents. It is an easy 15-20 minute walk to the main Europa Park gate, and there are plenty of lovely restaruants en route. We were able to park both our cars at the front of the apartment
The place is really nice. Walking distance to the center of Rust and the Europe Park entrance. Quiet neighborhood. Very kind and friendly host Gabriele. Nice buffet breakfast and fridge against small charge at constant disposal. Really clean and well taken care of. A barcode to not pay for the Europe Park parking. All in all, everything was very good. We enjoyed our stay there, even though it was short - just for a night.
The guest house is an amazing family run hotel in Rust. We were surprised on how Incredibly clean the room was. Spotles!! The location is extremely convenient, at no more than 10 min from the main entrance of Europapark, we could just walk there and park in the hotel. The day began with an amazing breakfast, that even included some
Warm milk for our baby girl. Totally will come back here if visiting europapark again.
Very nice big apartment, at 15-20 min by walk from Europa Park entrance and 10 minutes from exit of Europa park (using hotels exit). The owner was vas very helpful and give us hints regarding restaurants, free parking at Europa Park (but we prefered to walk until there). Also agreed to change departure period by one day as my flight was moved.
The room was clean upon arrival, and they made your bed each day whilst you were out. The hotel also provided you with an alcoholic drink upon arrival which tasted fantastic. It was really close to Europa Park (10 minute walk) and a 28 minute walk from Rulantica.
Great location 3 minute walk from entrance to Europa park. Breakfast is good, AC is good
And most important the staff are very nice and give good service. We had a problem that was booking.com fault, the hotel did an effort to make our vacation there pleasant.
Great location for europa park and rulantica. Staff really friendly and helped with a travel query we had and gave a few options. Room was good and very spacious. Communication prior to arrival was very good. All round was fantastic hotel.
The hotel she have booked for us near Europe park.
she had for some reason no room available even we have payed. so she have booked us in transparent some other hotel after we have agreed in other hotels(pension Yvonne-sigh) agreement.
The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent.
The hotel was so close to the Europa Park exit we could walk out and get straight to our room after a long day.
The large smart TV was great for watching YouTube
very clean hotel , value for money , helped us even after check out and allowed us to leave our bags before check in , very nice view from the room window swimming pool and terrace, big smart TV , free coffe and water
The hosts are very accommodating: we didn't know the time of arrival and they agreed to leave the keys. The place was perfectly clean and located at walking distance from Europa Park, which was why we went to Rust.
It was really close to Europa park. We had a nice room with a balcony looking over the river. The room was spacious. The staff was helpful. The hotel was really quiet and the area was tranquil.
Great location beside the europa park. The hotel has a perfect air conditioning which relieve the worming days in Europe
It is a very clean and well equipped hotel
Price/benefit comparison is good. Rust is relatively expensive place. Also check-in is very smooth. Breakfast was good. I liked the idea of having tables numbered
