We enjoyed a very charming and enjoyable stay in this country-style hotel, close to Lubeck. There's ample parking, WiFi and a friendly reception. The hotel spa was a great bonus and the daily breakfast was outstanding! There was plenty of choice, fresh fruit, tasty cooked options and gluten-free bread available upon request. The country setting was very quiet and ideal for relaxing after the days spent sightseeing. Old Town Lubeck is very easy to drive to 15 mins away, so we loved the proximity! The service we received at the hotel restaurant was excellent, warm and inviting. When I left some luggage on check-out they were very helpful in notifying me and arranging prompt shipment. They went above and beyond in every way. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Prompt response from the owner, warming welcome, high-qualified facilitates, very thoughtful to every small details. I am a frequent traveler, it is definitely one of the best city apartments that I have been stayed, too bad was a business trip, really in rush, otherwise would have stayed few more days for sure!

Easy access, very polite and helpful owner. Ideal rooms, at least the single rooms that we booked, were exactly what we needed. Clean, warm with soft beds for a nice sleep to relax! Safe parking for our motorcycles. Excellent breakfast buffet, with everything we needed.

While the hotel itself was very good, the central Chinese restaurant doesn't accept credit cards. I had to walk a kilometer round trip, under the watchful eye of the manager, to withdraw cash from an ATM. I have a mobility impairment.

The location is ideal if you arrive late in the evening from the ship in Travemünde (arriving at 9 pm). Tired, you'll be continuing your journey home in the morning. We appreciate being able to have breakfast from 6 am.

Quite okay room and breakfast.

Quite okay room and breakfast. Slept well all night even though there was a festival in the village. Lacked an elevator because we had two in our travel party who had difficulty walking. We were just passing through and only slept one night and the hotel was perfect for this purpose. Can recommend the Greek restaurant Rhodos a short walk from the hotel. Good food and friendly staff.

The location was ideal for us; we were traveling through Travemünde on our way to Switzerland. We received the door code by email, and the room key was ready. Everything went smoothly. After a restful breakfast, we continued our journey, already thinking we would stay at this hotel again.

The window in my room could not be opened due to the construction. Friendly, nice, helpful staff both at check-in and check-out. Maybe should have mentioned that the Yugoslavian restaurant Donau only took cash. Good breakfast!

Comfortable and very clean hotel just a few minutes off the A1. Very flexible self-check-in for those who arrive a bit later (the check-in desk closes at 8PM). We stayed in a family room, which was really spacious, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast included in the room price.

Basic but convenient hotel to stay after Helsinki-Travemünde ferry. Easy self-checkin available after official hours. Smallish parking place but there was still one slot unoccupied which was nice.

Hotel location was good, close to an excellent Greek restaurant. Car park was fairly small but we parked ok. The breakfast was typically German, so was perfectly good for us.
