Exceptionally clean, modern and well appointed rooms. Bed was very comfortable but mattress a little soft for my liking. Location was excellent, central to everything in the old town including Christmas Market. Highly recommended.

In everything it is obvious the team do love their guests. Staff is outstanding, the rooms spacious, the shower in the bathroom heaven. Everything is taken care off. Honestly, maybe the best place i've booked in a long time. My room was big with good equipments, a lot of space, a mini fridge. I loved the design. Also very quiet. The lighting was excellent, especially the one alongside the bed. The location is also perfect, in the center of the old town, 2 stops away from the train station, A special thanks to the members of the staff who all were exceptionnal ! You are so friendly and helpful, your warm smiles made me feel welcome in this hotel and this city ! You were very patient with my awful german skills 😂 but it was very enjoyable talking with you, i wish you all the best !

A Grimm Fairytale

Although known for the Nuremberg Trials, this Bavarian city has a stunning medieval core of cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings that wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale. Sitting above this is the castle, one of the most important in the Holy Roman Empire. Take the steep walk up here for fantastic old town views.

Hauptmarkt square in the old town is home to an unusual-looking church and a Gothic fountain, spectacularly lit during the annual Nuremberg Christmas markets. Selling everything from wooden toys to lebkuchen (gingerbread), these are widely considered the best Christmas markets in Germany.

Other attractions in Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German) include the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, the country’s largest museum of culture and art. Another highlight is the Heilig-Geist-Spital, a medieval hospital by the Pegnitz River.

A word must also be said about its relationship with Nazism. On the south-east corner are the immense Nazi Rally Grounds and Party Congress Hall, built in appropriately domineering fashion. The excellent Documentation Centre here is a sensitive and unbiased portrayal of life under Hitler. It is also possible to visit the courtroom where the war trials were held.

We enjoyed Nuremberg, we were there just before Christmas so enjoyed looking around the fantastic Christmas Markets around the Old Town. There was a great friendly Christmas vibe around the City!, also visited the former Nazi Rally Grounds which was interesting.

Old Nuremburg excellent, easy to walk around- like you were going back in time. Lovely setting for Christmas Markets. Great Restaurants - very good food at reasonable prices. Train Museum , Dungeon Tour , Documentation Centre and Zepplin Grounds , Nuremberg Trials Museum ,Yellow Hop On Hop Off all excellent. Lovely to dine in a restaurant in the Documentation Centre Managed by people with Special Needs - food lovely so well done. St Klares Church was beautiful.

We stayed 3 nights in Nuremberg.

We stayed 3 nights in Nuremberg. Fantastic Christmas Markets that were not overcrowded compared to Prague and Brussels. Recommend booking a half day historical tour that included a tour of the Nazi Rally Grounds. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience.

Well..... what a beautiful city. Ive come for the Christmas Markets but the city itself is delightful. The food is very good if you do your research. AdventuressAli for tips. Top tip: find the mulled wine with the huge copper pots and pouring liquid fire (run soaked sugar). Wowwww

Nürnberg (Nuremberg) is such a charming city, and there are lots of things to love whether you’re into history, food, or just relaxing as a couple. A few places that I had visited Imperial Castle (Kaiserburg) and Old Town (Altstadt).Just walking the cobblestone streets is a pleasure half timbered houses, narrow alleys, bridges over the Pegnitz river it was amazing. I had enjoyed allot of the street food along the way I must say allot of Turkish food outlets :)

Nuremberg city center is unique, charming, and extremely walkable, with dozens of restaurants and shops of all types. There are lots of sights to see even in the off season, including several beautiful churches. Of course the parade grounds (outside of city center) are the main historical site, but the German National Museum (inside city center) is extensive and very well presented, and there are other museums as well.

I arrived in Nurnberg very early in the morning by bus. So I had contacted the Reception before to inform them and telling them that of course I wouldn't expect my room to be ready so early. Instead, to my great relief, it was! I was very tired and I just needed to lay down for a while. The guy that welcomed me was very friendly, always smiling. Thank you! The hotel is very well located. Only 10 minutes' walk from the station and the Old Town!

Hotel Victoria was an excellent choice for our weekend visit to Nuremberg. The location was very central - 2 mins from the main train station and also the old town and all its fabulous sights. The hotel was very clean and superb buffet breakfast. The staff was first class - extremely helpful and pleasant - a lot of hotels could learn how staff should welcome and care for guests.

Very nice hotel at a perfect location. The staff is very helpful and friendly, we felt very welcomed. The room was even better than expected, well equipped and spacious. The private parking is a huge pro (don't forget to book in advance)! Old town and christmas market are within walking distance .

We liked the location (hotel is near rail station and old town but on a quiet street). The room was reasonably comfortable for short stay with comfortable beds, free safe and a good shower. The room had air conditioner which is rare in Germany but it did not work. The breakfast was very good.

Quiet...it is quiet at night, and in the city centre. Two nights before I stayed nearby in another hotel with outside noise and little sleep. Continental is QUIET. Room is very big, lots of space. Price - it is cheaper than other hotels nearby, see the 'didn't like' for why....
