In a quiet and safe residential area near the old town of Nuremberg, about 7 mins on foot to Albrecht Dürer's House. A tram station was also nearby, the convenient transportation allowed travelers to get there easily. Breakfast was extremely excellent and so varied, the room had a minibar and a small fridge, everything was very thoughtful to business travelers or tourists.

The hotel is brand new and absolutely lovely! The rooms are stylish, comfortable and very clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and the small apartment even had a small kitchen with everything we could need. We arrived really late because of delayed trains and the two lovely ladies at reception waited especially for us - THANK YOU! The hotel is in the heart of the city and perfect for a city stay. We can 100% recommend this property :-)

This hotel is perfect. The cleanest, sweetest smelling hotel I’ve experienced. It’s cosy and modern with everything feeling absolutely brand new. The restaurant food was exquisite. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with many bio and gluten free foods available. The vibe is quiet and peaceful. My bed was extremely comfortable. The cotton sheets crisp and cosy. The staff were extremely helpful, smiley and friendly. Easy to park, directly outside of the hotel for free. I cannot fault this lovely hotel.

A Grimm Fairytale

Although known for the Nuremberg Trials, this Bavarian city has a stunning medieval core of cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings that wouldn’t look out of place in a fairytale. Sitting above this is the castle, one of the most important in the Holy Roman Empire. Take the steep walk up here for fantastic old town views.

Hauptmarkt square in the old town is home to an unusual-looking church and a Gothic fountain, spectacularly lit during the annual Nuremberg Christmas markets. Selling everything from wooden toys to lebkuchen (gingerbread), these are widely considered the best Christmas markets in Germany.

Other attractions in Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German) include the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, the country’s largest museum of culture and art. Another highlight is the Heilig-Geist-Spital, a medieval hospital by the Pegnitz River.

A word must also be said about its relationship with Nazism. On the south-east corner are the immense Nazi Rally Grounds and Party Congress Hall, built in appropriately domineering fashion. The excellent Documentation Centre here is a sensitive and unbiased portrayal of life under Hitler. It is also possible to visit the courtroom where the war trials were held.

We enjoyed Nuremberg, we were there just before Christmas so enjoyed looking around the fantastic Christmas Markets around the Old Town. There was a great friendly Christmas vibe around the City!, also visited the former Nazi Rally Grounds which was interesting.

Old Nuremburg excellent, easy to walk around- like you were going back in time. Lovely setting for Christmas Markets. Great Restaurants - very good food at reasonable prices. Train Museum , Dungeon Tour , Documentation Centre and Zepplin Grounds , Nuremberg Trials Museum ,Yellow Hop On Hop Off all excellent. Lovely to dine in a restaurant in the Documentation Centre Managed by people with Special Needs - food lovely so well done. St Klares Church was beautiful.

We stayed 3 nights in Nuremberg.

We stayed 3 nights in Nuremberg. Fantastic Christmas Markets that were not overcrowded compared to Prague and Brussels. Recommend booking a half day historical tour that included a tour of the Nazi Rally Grounds. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience.

Well..... what a beautiful city. Ive come for the Christmas Markets but the city itself is delightful. The food is very good if you do your research. AdventuressAli for tips. Top tip: find the mulled wine with the huge copper pots and pouring liquid fire (run soaked sugar). Wowwww

Nürnberg (Nuremberg) is such a charming city, and there are lots of things to love whether you’re into history, food, or just relaxing as a couple. A few places that I had visited Imperial Castle (Kaiserburg) and Old Town (Altstadt).Just walking the cobblestone streets is a pleasure half timbered houses, narrow alleys, bridges over the Pegnitz river it was amazing. I had enjoyed allot of the street food along the way I must say allot of Turkish food outlets :)

I arrived in Nurnberg very early in the morning by bus. So I had contacted the Reception before to inform them and telling them that of course I wouldn't expect my room to be ready so early. Instead, to my great relief, it was! I was very tired and I just needed to lay down for a while. The guy that welcomed me was very friendly, always smiling. Thank you! The hotel is very well located. Only 10 minutes' walk from the station and the Old Town!

The hotel is new, well situated (around a 10-min walk from the old city centre), and its facilities are super clean and well taken care of. Also, the rooms have solid thermal and acoustic insulation. Finally, the reception staff was very friendly and attentive! Overall, we had a great time at Premier Inn Nürnberg City Opernhaus! We fully recommend it, and we will probably choose it again as our accommodation next time we are in Nürnberg.

Only 5 mins walk from main market square. Lovely part of the old town. Incredibly clean facilities in a traditional hotel. All hotels in the area seemed a little on the pricier side but this was a bit more reasonable than others and perfect for what we needed.
