Lovely town. Lots of shops, good food, and friendly people. We were there during the "Wood Festival" weekend. It was very pleasant. Beautiful cycling routes around the town, and a lovely nature reserve. I highly recommend coming back.

Charming small town. Many shops and restaurants. Beautiful city park. Boat trips on the Vecht River are available. We visited the Nordhorn Christmas Market. It's atmospheric, welcoming, and well-organized. Its location, not far from the Dutch-German border, makes Nordhorn an attractive destination.

Great for a weekend getaway with your dog or for an active...

Great for a weekend getaway with your dog or for an active outing; hiking or cycling, or a boat trip on Lake Vechte. Nordhorn doesn't have a particularly attractive town center or any special shops. It does have good restaurants and a unique park.

Since we love cycling in the Netherlands, staying there for a week was perfect. It's just a stone's throw away to explore the beautiful Dutch cycle paths. And if you don't feel like cooking, Nordhorn has plenty of good restaurants.

I liked the hotel overall and its location, a 5-10 minute walk from the center. The hotel's common areas are beautiful and comfortable, and they offer drinks such as coffee and water. The breakfast is varied and there are options for all tastes. The room is spacious, as is the bathroom, and the bed is large and comfortable. The efficiency of the hotel staff and their kindness and friendliness, especially that of Mrs. Carla Gomes Duque, made me always feel welcome and supported in whatever I needed.

Breakfast was genuinely good, with a wide selection and the option to make your own omelette. • The sauna area, including a steam bath, looked cosy and well maintained (though we didn’t use it). • The hotel provides bathrobes and slippers, and the cleaning staff were friendly and responsive – they even brought my daughter some sweets. • There’s a lovely park nearby, perfect for a morning walk.

Nice hosts, beautiful surroundings with a lot of bird life and other wildlife. Nice and clean. Beds were made which was lovely after a 14 h journey. Close to nature, castle Bentheim, the town of Nordhorn. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Wood burner was on which was a lovely gesture.

It was like being in a little cozy home, close to eachother my partner and I, cooking when we wanted, near the city and not so far from facilities like Media Markt or supermarkets. Nordhorn is a nice small city.
