Our car broke down and we needed to find a room last minute that accepted four dogs. The hotel welcomed us and made the whole process of checking in very smooth and comfortable for us and our pets. The restaurant was excellent, and everything we needed while our car was repaired was within walking distance

This was a quirky hotel - particularly the dining area which was both interesting and imaginative in its decor (in a good way!). The outside dining areas were attractive. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was rustic, tasty and well presented and we definitely enjoyed it - ribs were clearly a speciality here. The breakfast selection was very good.
