That's the most convenient place to visit Messe over last 6-8 years I am here. Easy to get in and out, walking distance to the train station and the airport, as well as fairground. I guess it will be good for a small family as well even for 1 week or so. Would love to come again in 2022

A good starting point for many excursions towards Friedrichshafen to the west, Ravensburg to the east, Meersburg to the north, and Lindau to the south. Numerous shopping opportunities and several restaurants are available locally.

Unlike other surrounding municipalities, Meckenbeuren does not participate in the 'visitor's tax/guest card' system, meaning there is no free use of buses and trains within the bodo transport network. A real shame!

Meckenbeuren is a great starting point for tours to Austria and Switzerland. Of course, I can reach entirely different beautiful areas by car. But the proximity to the train station is also a plus.

Meckenbeuren is situated in a quiet location within a fruit and hop-growing region, yet close to Friedrichshafen Airport and the Dornier Museum. Friedrichshafen city center, with its Zeppelin Museum, is also easily accessible by car.

I know the area well and it's simply a great starting point for various excursions and activities. The proximity to the train station is also fantastic, especially if you want to leave the car behind.

The room way exceeded our expectations. It was very new, clean, spacious and well equipped. We traveled with 2 children, 1 5YO and 1 1YO, and both of them loved the room so much! It was also super convenient that the bakery was located right at the lobby of the apartment, so we did not have to go out in the cold to get breakfast. We did not pay for the hotel breakfast, but we did see guests enjoying the spread and it looked really good! Highly recommend!!!
