Very lovely end to a long day of mountain biking with the family. The staff were friendly, patient with our German, and flexible (as we needed to rebook), and the rooms were clean and cozy. We had supper in the restaurant and it was the best German food we have had, particularly the Rehe Ragout (venison stew). Very nice buffet breakfast too. Highly recommend!

Very clean and beautifully maintained family run hotel. The water temperature in the heated pool was perfect. Additionally there is a Tepidarium and 2 saunas (for female & male). Lovely outside terrace surrounded by the beautiful forest. Very spacious double room with large balcony. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Good selection of breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, pastries, breakfast cereals, omlette, fruits, yoghurts........etc.

Superb stay. Friendly family run guesthouse. Beautifully situated, driving through the forest to get here. Beautiful views. Large clean spacious room leading to a large shared terrace that can be partitioned for privacy. Room no.4 had tea, coffee facilities, sofa and table and a large, clean bathroom. No fridge in the bedroom, but water and drinks available from shared fridge in the landing. A lovely touch when holidaying in Germany. Breakfast was delicious with choice of meats, cheese, jams, fresh bread rolls and juice, and their scrambled eggs were the best ever! Beautiful restaurant also for an evening meal. We had the steak, and their grilled meat plate. Homemade fries and more fresh vegetables would have been more appreciated on the plate rather than just shop bought fries. However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.

However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.
