Very spaceous and very clean newly renovated apartment. The location is great, quiet and very close to restaurants and vineyards. It has a nice, out of the wind terrace. Very kind and helpful owner. If I have 1 remark, it would be the matrasses from the bed. These we personally found were not so great. It would be nice too if there was an extra room for kids so you can come with the whole family. It's very spaceous but practically maybe a bit difficult because of how the different rooms are connected with each other. But it's definitely worth it.

We had such a lovely dinner with some incredible wine in a very beautiful place. The sauna facility was a bonus after a rainy day on the bikes. Breakfast was lovely, even with sparkling wine again :) And the staff was really nice, giving us loads of time to enjoy the wine before dinner and then a lovely meal. Everyone was very friendly and the garden was lovely for a morning coffee. Will be very happy to return one day :)

While searching for restaurants or wine taverns, we discovered that the village of Leiwen seems to be on the verge of extinction. During the day, there's absolutely nothing going on, and in the evenings, the options are extremely limited. One has to wonder what the tourist tax is actually used for???

A small, idyllic village, at least in autumn. It's likely a bit livelier during the high season. The restaurants weren't particularly exciting, so we preferred to cook for ourselves: there's a fabulous butcher in town.

The town is easy to navigate.

The town is easy to navigate. Its best days are sadly behind it. There are quite a few empty hotels and restaurants. It has a certain lack of charm in some corners. There are few shops. However, the town is quiet, and the wine is good. It's also easily accessible from neighboring towns.

A charming, small, and charming wine town on the Mosel River. Much of the town was closed for this time of year. You can enjoy peaceful walks among the vineyards. Public transport is good, with regular bus services.

An excellent area to relax in the summer, yet central enough to reach the cities (10-30 minutes) for more active and vibrant attractions. There are also many interesting smaller museums and other interesting places to visit, and beautiful hiking trails start directly from Leiwen.

A very nice little village with a small supermarket,...

A very nice little village with a small supermarket, hairdresser, savings bank, and cooperative bank, and of course, lots of wineries. Perfect for cycling or hiking. You can then end the evening relaxing on a terrace with a glass of wine.

Excellent small hotel for when visiting Leiwen and surrounding area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well equipped and comfortable rooms - with fans for when weather is hot. We were able to store our bikes in the hotel's garage. Excellent buffet breakfast - and we also dined in the hotel restaurant, which was very good.

Lovely hotel unfortunately at the time of our stay (Thursday) the restaurant was closed but we were provided with a list of alternative restaurants one of which was across the road and was absolutely super. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the host could not have been more helpful.

Nice hotel. Tidy room with a modern bathroom. No frills or luxuries but nothing to complain about whatsoever. Breakfast was a cold buffet and perfectly adequate. Staff were all nice. Small private car park around the back. I’d stay again.

Large garage provided for storing bicycles, comfortable rooms, very good restaurant at the hotel. We were able to leave a bicycle at the hotel for a few days after a breakdown. Friendly and helpful staff.
