Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.

Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

We were there for a medical consultation.

We were there for a medical consultation. Therefore, we didn't see much. There is some beautiful fin-de-siècle architecture. However, many streets were under construction, making it difficult to find our destination with the GPS.

We visited Linn Castle, including the hunting lodge and museum. It was all interesting and well worth a trip. The old town (Linn) is lovely for strolling. Unfortunately, the Silk Museum was closed. Otherwise, we found Krefeld rather plain. But perhaps we just weren't in the right places...

The charm of the old grand boulevards and buildings has...

The charm of the old grand boulevards and buildings has faded. Nevertheless, it's fascinating to discover the many old buildings and their architectural details. Because of the beautiful arena and the fantastic fans of the Krefeld Pinguins, a visit to an ice hockey game is always worthwhile. Easily accessible by train.

Our second year here, heavenly! Excellent location, short walk from a lake in one direction and a short drive from our family and near enough to Moers, Traar, Krefeld and further afield like Duisburg and Dusseldorf. Property itself, spotlessly clean and had everything you would need for a self catering stay. Hosts were friendly and there if we needed them. Gorgeous views, quiet and relaxing. We will be back again next year!

I love this place! Very new, large and clean and well equipped apartment with a helpful and friendly host. 2 bedrooms with full kitchen and a nice loft to relax in. ample free parking. the apartment is next to a horse barn and you can visit the horses if you like animals. location is great too, just a short drive to Krefeld and Düsseldorf. it’s really nice to stay here instead of the town area. I will come back again!

Hotel is on the third floor of a larger building, across the trainstation and near supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Conveniently located. Nice beds and fairly quiet for a city center hotel.
