We stopped over here on our way back to Germany from Italy. The best value for money. Comfy big bed. Great bathroom with a fabulous large rain shower. We travelled Europe for 5 weeks and this was by far the best breakfast- a lot of organic items and amazing variety. We could not stop eating! Super helpful and welcoming staff. Even stored our ice cooler items in their cool room. We also had dinner here and loved it. Both meat and vegetarian dishes were super yummy and home cooked. The only downside was that the room was a bit warm during this summer night as there was no AC. However a fan was provided. All in all one of the most pleasant places to stay. Kitzingen is beautiful to explore en foot. We would stay here again for sure.

The apartment is new, clean, warm and light, Nespresso coffee machine was a lovely surprise. Parking lot is right in front, yet was no need to move the car as the city centre is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Hosts are very friendly and quick in response. I highly recommend!

I city with a lot of character and charm walking from the hotel into city we passed a plot where some roma-people had a party we stayed a while for listening to the very expressiv music. The restaurant where we had our dinner was god with exelent service.

Very nice little medieval town with lots of things to do.

Very nice little medieval town with lots of things to do. When you think Würzburg is too busy and large than Kitzingen is a good alternative fot a quiet stay. Tourist office is very active, so you won't have trouble finding ways to enjoy yourself. Kitzingen has quite some good restaurants, a nice shopping area, old bridge and gardens. Kitzingen is also a good starting point for visits to other beautiful villages like Volkach and Sommerach.

Great cycling paths downstream.

Great cycling paths downstream. The campsite is highly recommended for its food; it's right on the Main River and has good parking. The pedestrian zone is quite small, but has interesting shops. The Carnival Museum is worth a visit. The "Aqua Sol" sauna complex at the Crooked Tower is fantastic, especially the diving area in the Main.

A nice little town with a beautiful old town; the restaurants are okay, but these are difficult times for the restaurant industry. Incidentally, it's very kind of you to ask for recommendations for other young couples; we're 59 and 64 years old, so we'd rather refrain from making any. Activities are, after all, a very individual matter.

A wonderful city on the Main River with a beautiful old town. Cycling and hiking trails are very well signposted, and you can choose between short trips and full-day tours. It's especially lovely in September when the grape harvest is in full swing, as there are vineyards all around.

Price, cleanliness – Everything spotless in a place, however, that transports you back to rural Germany's 1970s as far as style, furnishings, amenities, and furniture are concerned. The room a was in is tiny and the bathroom even tinier, breathing the air of what in Germany they call a 'Monteurshotel', or a price-is-king place into which companies may book their workforce in town for a couple of days for installation or building work.

This is the third time we have stayed here. Initially, it was to break our journey to the alps, but we enjoyed it so much this year we decided to to stay an extra night. We had a fabulous walk around Kitzingen and then on to some other historic villages. Beautiful area with lots of historical interest . The hotel is comfortable and centrally located. Excellent breakfast and helpful owner. Thank you
