This was not the best Gasthof we have stayed in, but it was the best value. The room was confortable, clean and quiet. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was excelent and cheap. There was a nice walk nearby, we walked for 1 hour but we would have liked to have more time.

The location is just in front of the train station so very convenient. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The room had all the facilities and was very clean, it was well heated, very spacious bathroom and balcony. I would stay again if I visit Balduinstein again.

Comfortable, well equipped room, en suite bathroom. Good nights sleep in a quiet rural village. Road closure made finding the Hotel very difficult as Sat Nav keeps wanting to send you on the road that has closed !! Presumably the roadworks will only be temporary but worth checking first before you book. Within 60 metres of the Hotel you are out into open countryside. Good for walking the dog.

All was perfect. I am coming here repeatedly, with group or alone. Always Wery Good Reference. I recommend a tourist walk down to the valley of dörsbach creek, amazing hike in nature. Also nice forests and fields are near Herold, ready to walk. Or go for a cycling.

The hotel was amazing. Beautiful building in a quiet rural village. Rooms were top quality and clean. The food on the evening and breakfast superb. The staff all very friendly and helpful. Even had a secure garage for our scooters. ☆☆☆☆☆ Star accommodation
