A true 5 star hotel: From the first class (and friendly) check-in to the quality of every fixture and fitting, this is a really impressive hotel. I particularly liked the gym facilities. A huge range of high end equipment, and there was a separate room to use for yoga/ personal exercise (when not used for classes), the pool was lovely with many places to sit or lounge by. The restaurant was beautiful. The food was healthy and inventive, the wine selection impressive. Every member of staff I met was helpful and friendly .

Great location in the old town: remarkably quiet, given that. Comfortable room. We appreciated being able to store our bikes in the storage room in the basement. To clarify other reviews, the elevator down to the basement was just a little too narrow to wheel our bikes in. We had to take the bikes down one at a time and stand each one up on its rear wheel. There was a luggage trolley in the foyer in which we were able to stack our bike bags and batteries for a single trip up to the room, which made the process much easier.

We liked the quite area. Waking up and hearing the birds singing was the best part for me. We had a beautiful view to the lake. You could stay on the terrace and enjoy the nature.
