The unit was lovely and clean on arrival. The bed was super comfortable. The cooking facilities were amazing. It was great being able to cook a nice meal after a long day cycling! the hosts were really quick to respond to my questions which was great! The balcony was nice to have to sit out on too. Having the swimming pool nearby was also a nice thing to have.

It was lovely.

It was lovely. We had a very good breakfast in the restaurant. The pool was the best part for the grandchildren, and the playground was also very nice and interesting. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The town is not too large and is situated in a beautiful landscape. There are several shops, cafes, and restaurants where you can have a good meal in the evening. The Czech Republic and Austria are also easily accessible from there.

Beautiful little town, great playground at Geyersberg, glassblowing workshop, also Grafenau about 20km away, lovely stream for children to swim in, summer toboggan run, beautifully landscaped and maintained grounds after the state garden show.

The rooms are beautifully furnished. We were expected and had a lovely handover. We also had a bread roll delivery service, which I thought was perfect (no waking or disturbing us). The spa area with sauna and pool was excellent. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back soon.

We were only there to visit the alternative medicine practitioner Roland Bischoff – anyone familiar with the term iridology should definitely visit him. The Café Restaurant Uhrmann and the chocolate shop are also worth a visit.

Location was fantastic - easy access by car with private parking and situated most of the way up the hill overlooking the town. We weren't there to visit the Landesgartenschau (May - Oct), but it would be an ideal location from which to do so. All amenities are present and it comfortably fits five people. Freyung is a reasonably-sized town to explore and there are splendid walks all around through glorious forests. Contact with the owner is exceptional and extremely accommodating.

Large, clean, comfortable, and attractive holiday home. The linens and towels were good quality, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Parking was ample. The village was quiet and peaceful, but there was a small grocery store only a block away. Plenty of restaurants and shopping were available in Freyung <10 min drive and the Baumwipfelpfad was also only about 10 min away.

Very friendly and helpful owners! they helped us with the ski arrangements and all other many requests and advices. It's a nice cozy atmosphere in the hotel. We found the breakfast really great: tastly, self made, everything you need and with lots of local foods, it all brings it to the next level
