The staff was exceptionally enthusiastic and cooperative, and the breakfast and food otherwise left little to be desired! The forest room was an absolut delight: clean, spacious, bright, lovely decoration, great bathroom, colours... The staff was helful and assisting at any time needed. The little town of Wolfach is totally worth a visit and from the accomodation there are a few hiking routes. Despire being close to the railways, it was totally quiet at night. I cannot wait to get back for a longer time. Oh, and the parking is right opposite to the hotel!

A fantastic, family run hotel in the centre of the Black Forest. Everything was beyond our expectations. The size of the room, the terrace and all the meals. Despite the number of guests, including young children, all was blissfully quiet for the entire day and night. All the staff were first rate in every respect. An added bonus for us, was the light lunch, provided at no extra cost between 1 and 2pm. We cannot fault this hotel and shall return again soon. Wonderful walking from the doorstep or at short distances in every direction.
