Extremely clean, well kept small hotel. Though the reception is on up to 22.00 h the girl there was very nice and speaks a very good English. My room was spaciousd, normally furnished and equipped without any lavish. Bathrooms are exquisit - very spacious and well equipped and very clean. There is enough parking space - if not in front - at the back side. Breakfast is also very good - no unneeded stupid assortments - a few but essential, fresh and very tasty choices for every taste and type of having breakfast. Beds are comfortableq pillows and quilt are exquisite - a german trade mark in all german hotels! Location is veru quiet and calm. The place is disability friendly by structure and management.

For the price it was the best accommodation I have ever been in. It was very clean, easy to check in. We were on our way home from the UK and it was the perfect place to spend a night. Beautiful place and really nice service We unfortunately spent little time at this place given that it was a one day trip to the Hurtgenwald, but we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We arrived late due to road work and without speaking German. The staff was greatly kind and even prepared us a small package for breakfast as we left early the next day before breakfast time. The restaurant is top notch and even though it was full, they took time to explain the menu -which was in German- to us. Bonus point for the Christmas decoration adding a magical feeling to the place. We highly recommand this place and we'll surely book a longer stay there if we come back in the area.

Great place to stay as the locals are very friendly and not your stereotypical Germans. They are Rhinelanders and therefore have a great sense of humour and very jovial party goer types. They fully understand “British Humour “ and many love Monty Python(I was surprised to find out)…Eschweiler is in easy reach of places to visit like Aachen, Stolberg and Monschau and cheaper than staying in those places. Also the Hurtgen forest is close by if you’re into WW2 history.

Eschweiler is a small city on the outskirts of Aachen, which is approximately a 10-minute drive away on the highway. There isn't actually that much to do here, I would recommend this place mainly for sleeping, because it is orders of magnitude cheaper than Aachen, but you can very conveniently reach the Aachen city center by bus or by car. There are some good restaurants, though, we ate in an Italian restaurant called Pizzeria Schwan, which offered delicious pasta and pizza at a reasonable price.

Scam hotel. Arrived after midnight to check in (as one would assume would be acceptable at a hotel that is advertised as having a 24 hour check in facility) and was only able to get 2/3 of our rooms as the machine broke half way through the check in process. Zero staff on site or on the other end of the support phone line to help with the situation leaving 3 young women without a room for the night that was paid for in advance. Definitely avoid. Very unsafe.

Good location for our needs - close to motorway easy in and out, perfect while in transit. Parking in front of the hotel. The rooms are nice and clean, pretty basic, but we do not need more for 1 night stay. Good value for money. It is our new favorite overnight stop.
