Evening meal was amazing - they were voted 6th out of 1850 regional restaurants in Germany Breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with a wide range of choices. Minibar was good value - €7.50 for a 75cl of their own wine free mineral water in the room was a nice surprise

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was enveloped in a sense of genuine hospitality. The hotel is beautiful in a very nice location for relaxing trip in the Mosel. Since we had the private sauna suite, I’m a bit biased when saying that it was amazing. As someone who grew up with Finnish sauna, I must say the one we had in our room was superb. In addition, the bubble bath was amazing. The restaurant food was very good as well.

Very nice location with luxurious SPA and amazing breakfast. Personal is very friendly, discreet when needed and attentive just enough for us to enjoy the facilities. A bit classy atmosphere without a “kitsch”, very tidy kept but certainly not new. Room was nice and spacious, very warm and comfortable with the nice view. The most rewarding part was that my 5 year daughter wanted to come back to this hotel and already asking where we visiting it again 🌸

The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable and is on a quiet street. Being up on the hill, there is a wonderful view of the river! There is a garage for parking bicycles and wine available for purchase! Breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, breads, coffee, meats, cheeses and cereals. There were no restaurants open in Burg on Wednesday, so we had to ride the 1.5 miles (or so) back to Riel for dinner. Most restaurants were not open between about 14:00-17:00
