Amazing location to explore the Mullerthal Trails and the nearby Grun Holle. Beautiful mossy forrests. Great amenities including sauna and indoor pool. Friendly and efficient staff. I would have loved a week here.

Bollendorf is in a nice setting but the town has few facilities, and speaking to locals it appears much of the tourist business has been damaged by a combination of COVID lockdowns and the devastating floods in 2021.

Bollendorf is a lovely little town.

Bollendorf is a lovely little town. However, for proper amenities, you'll need to go to a larger town. There's no supermarket, for example. We did, however, enjoy some wonderful hiking and cycling there. The infrastructure is fantastic.

Beautiful surroundings with many worthwhile destinations, Luxembourg nearby. Unfortunately, the Sauer cycle path directly along the river is mostly still under construction and currently runs directly alongside the main road, with dust, noise, and exhaust fumes...

The rooms in the main building are as described.

The rooms in the main building are as described. The annex where I stayed is much more modern. All in all, it was okay, as I expected. As is always the case with such old buildings, there's a backlog of renovations.

The area around Bollendorf is ideal for a hiking holiday! The village itself feels deserted, with no shops or nice places to spend the evenings. Anyone wanting to travel to the area should choose Echternach for their overnight stay. It's located in Luxembourg and is only 7 km from Bollendorf!

The Location and the stunning view of the hotel. Swimming pool and the sauna and the uphill view from the restaurants when taking breakfast, but you should sit near to the window if you want to capture the nice view. But I think with the sitting arrangement for the guests of the hotel has been organised in advance so you can't just sit randomly.

The hotel is basically a repurposed castle and is situated in a quiet part of the town on a hill. Thus the place breaths history and has a lot of character. It's a good starting place to discover the area by car. Breakfast was really nice, there was a lot of choice. The restaurant was also OK.

The hotel is well situated, close to Echternach and Berdorf, from where you can do magnificent walks. Plenty of free parking. Rooms were large, clean and they make up the bed every day ! Extensive breakfast buffet.
