The hotel is situated in a pleasant location, and the exterior of the building is attractive. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, it would have been very helpful to receive written information before check-in about the heating not working in the rooms during the stay. This would have set clear expectations from the start and avoided unnecessary inconvenience.

I enjoyed the lovingly renovated town center and the fact that there were places to stop for refreshments. The tourist information office was very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go inside either Kemnade Abbey Church or the town church. That means I'll have to come back!

A very old town on the Weser River, actually quite beautiful. Unfortunately, many of the old half-timbered houses are falling into disrepair, and it has definitely seen better days in terms of tourism. It's okay to look around, but there are nicer places to spend more time.

There's a Greek restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and a...

There's a Greek restaurant, an Italian restaurant, and a Berlin kebab shop. Pizza is probably available everywhere. It's lovely to sit by the Weser River when the weather is nice, even though it all closes at 10 p.m. Bodenwerder is probably only used as a transit point.

A very scenic location.

A very scenic location. Most overnight stays take place at campsites and in campervans, so the hotels apparently benefit little and there is little activity in the town center during off-peak hours.

There are two Greek restaurants in Bodenwerder, Akropolis...

There are two Greek restaurants in Bodenwerder, Akropolis and Parga. Further along the sidewalk in front of the von Münchhaus are two memorial stones, one for Rudi Carell and the other for Herman van Veen! Bodenwerder is a delightful town and virtually car-free. It boasts beautiful old houses and a magnificent location on the Weser River.

I would never book the Hotel Weserstuben again; it was an...

I would never book the Hotel Weserstuben again; it was an outrage for €98.00. It started with the room and ended with the unrefrigerated cheese and cold cuts at the breakfast buffet. It was a complete disaster.
