The hotel seems to be rather new and clearly designed by people who might have stayed at hotels for business trips often enough. The rooms are well sized, nicely decorated and come with all the little details one iften misses in other hotels. All the team was really friendly and caring. The location is conveniently close to public transport, right at the city center and just a short walk away from the main railway station. I particularily loved the desk and chair as in most hotels they are not really usable for work, where as here you have space and a comfy swivel high back chair.

"Wald & Golfhotel Lottental" is a really nice place to stay. Nicely situated out of the rush of the city, surrounded by fields and trees with constantly singing birds. The room was good and the bed was quite comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool and a sauna that guests can enjoy. As well as a large free of charge parking, less than 100 meters away from the hotel. The check out was a bit too early but this was not a big problem.

We booked a suite to have a separate room when the baby was sleeping and it was super spacious, clean and perfect to travel as a family. The staff was super friendly and at the restaurant they made us a special selection of snacks when we still were a bit hungry after returning from an event. The hotel is newly renovated - so all brand new!

Rooms are clean, with a beautiful wooden floor. It is one of the few hotels in Bochum with rooms with a wooden floor instead of a carpet. There was a misunderstanding when I checked in, but it was fixed the next day. The room was beautiful, and decorated with good taste. Bathroom is very modern. The hotel is ideally located, in the center, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and within a 10 min walking distance from the railway station. Breakfast is "à la carte", and is good. I appreciated the staff and the waitress who served me at breakfast.
