Beautifull hotel, very nice decorated and modern. Rooms looked great and were very clean. The location is great just inside the old city. Parking is closeby and relatively cheap. The breakfast was extremely nice, we enjoyed the sparkling wine. Highly recommended.

We had a big bedroom with roll down shutters for a good night's sleep on an immense and comfortable bed. We had the new(?) and excellent sauna all to ourselves which was a real treat and as we were out of season we got a really good price.

This is a newly renovated accommodation and is a 10 minute walk from the station. Everything is spotless and the owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming. My room was on the second floor and there was no lift so the owner carried my bags upstairs for me. He also facilitated an early checkout with breakfast for me. The breakfast was good except that the fruit was a bit over ripe, but this is a small issue in a first rate place. I would certainly be happy to come back to this again.

Fantastic location, super comfy, spotlessly clean spacious rooms. Had a meal with friends in the restaurant one night slightly pricy on first looking at menu but well worth it, can confidently state the best German quisiene I have had ( and I have had lots, perhaps too much!!!) really tasty and well presented, everyone was delighted, including our German friends. Breakfast generously covers all bases hot and cold. The dark-haired lady hosting the dining room is an asssett to the environment. Always a hello with a smile. The hotel has a great central location, and it is easy to stroll around with lots of eateries and interesting shops. Surrounded by beautiful, peaceful scenery.

We walked the route - Rotweinwanderweg -it was spectacular...

We walked the route - Rotweinwanderweg -it was spectacular and we had lovely lunch at Marienthal. Make sure where to catch the bus back. There is no indications in Dernau and the train does not operate --railway is under construction. Bad Neueahr is easy to walk around.

Cute old town centre that gets plenty of visitors on the...

Cute old town centre that gets plenty of visitors on the weekends but not too crowded. There's a variety of nice restaurants in the area and places to try the local wines. We went here specifically to hike and you can walk straight to a number of scenic hiking routes on either side of the valley, no need to take a bus or drive anywhere, which was a huge plus.

It is a very special and picturesque place surround by a wall from ancient times . The surroundings are excite with the vineyard descending in the hills. Old history from Roman times and more modern times worth visiting. May good walks. A special area of gourmet restaurant with a great variety of excellent wine.

We knew Bad Neuenahr before the flood and were delighted, amazed, and of course still deeply moved to be back. Such a beautiful little town. Great restaurants with very friendly staff. Good connections to the train and, of course, to the lovely hiking trails. We'll be back.

Both Ahrweiler and Bad Neuenahr are charming little towns, perfect for strolling and relaxing. The bus connections to neighboring towns are a bit of a drawback, as they sometimes only run hourly, but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery during the journey. After all, you're on vacation!

The population is still partly dealing with the aftermath of the 2021 floods. However, this did not significantly affect our stay. The restaurants we visited were appealing and satisfactory.

Lovely people, the hotel is only rooms all fine and the restaurant below is owned by the same people and the food and wine are excellent. The people could not have been more helpful and friendly. We thought breakfast would be a problem but the bakery in the square was excellent with all we needed of high quality and tables to sit at.
