The Great North is a true gem! The revamped interior is stunning, from rooms to restaurant, with beautiful decor in every corner, impressive photography on the walls, and gorgeous lighting fixtures - truly reminiscent of the most stylish hotels in metropolitan cities. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff warm and welcoming, and even our 6-year-old felt at home everywhere. Dinner was delicious with the right variety of tasty, locally-sourced dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast — fresh, diverse, including a juice maker and cooked-to-order eggs. Our beds were super comfortable, even the fold-out one for our daughter. The indoor walkway to the thermal baths was a welcome convenience, and we had a great time playing in the water and relaxing at the exceptional sauna & spa. Stylish, friendly, and perfectly relaxing, with exceptional attention to every detail — we’ll be back!

Perfect! Everything was just perfect! Wonderful and serviceminded staff. At the reception as well in breakfast restaurant where you had the largest option I've ever seen of cereals, berries, nuts, jams, bread - you name it! You were also offered on the spot fried eggs, bacon to your special wish! The spacious room lacked nothing. Looked like designer furniture, armchair as well as desk chair. Good lighting and gorgeous bed. Beautiful shower alcove etc. Lush garden area, parts already in full bloom - and you were invited to pick some strawberries! Of course I liked the total eco friendly, calm and silent ambience!

Good clinics, a good bookstore, and a few other nice little shops; otherwise, not much going on. I found the signage for the five local hiking trails very disappointing: there are no signs at important points, and the trails are impossible to find reliably without a map. A telling sign at a missing bridge on trail 5 in March 2025 read: "This bridge will be restored in 2023..."

We've been to Bad Bramstedt several times. We have very good friends here. Unfortunately, we had a death in the family this time, so our stay was very short. It's like anywhere else; you either like it or you don't. The people are very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. It was cosy, very clean, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent – right in the centre of Bad Bramstedt and within easy walking distance of everything. It truly felt like a home away from home.
