Nestled in the picturesque town of Alsfeld, this beautifully restored Art Nouveau villa is a true gem that blends timeless elegance with contemporary comfort. I had the privilege of staying in the Ludwig Suite, a space of refined luxury and thoughtful detail. The suite pays homage to King Ludwig II of Bavaria, reflecting both romanticism and grandeur in its design. From the plush furnishings to the serene view of the gardens, every aspect of the room was flawless and deeply atmospheric. The Marie Suite, named after Queen Marie of Prussia, offers a similarly regal experience. It is a celebration of elegance, femininity, and classic style – perfect for guests seeking a peaceful yet inspiring retreat. What truly elevates Hotel Villa Raab is its staff. Warm, attentive, and exceptionally professional, they made my stay seamless and memorable. A particular word of heartfelt thanks to Markus Kirchheim, whose honesty and integrity shine brightly. After misplacing my wallet at the nearby château, Markus found and returned it to me – completely intact. This act of kindness spared me a potentially devastating situation, and I remain deeply grateful. Hotel Villa Raab is not just a place to stay – it’s an experience. Beautifully presented, perfectly located, and undeniably worth every cent. Bravo to the entire team – and especially to Markus! Paul x

Very good location by the autobahn when you travel. Very good breakfast. We had a family room ( we are five in our family) and the room was very big with two rooms with beds.

Felt very luxurious, comfortable large beds, big room with floor to ceiling curtains, nice and warm. Sofa and little lobby with spacious wardrobe. Well appointed bathroom with fabulous bath as well as shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror. Lovely place! Free street parking right outside

Beautiful medieval town center, wonderful old buildings. A very good guide (in German) to be picked up at the hotel or in the Market Place, giving information on all the most interesting buildings. Fascinating history.

The apartment is actually better than presented in the pictures, which is rare. There is a designated parking spot, and the keys are easy to get from the box. If travelling with a pet, there is a nice park just next to the house, which helps a lot. The downtown of the beautiful Alsfeld is just a few minutes walk. The apartment is super clean, roomy and very convenient. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay, regardless of whether this is just a break in the travel (just like in my case) or a longer stay.

Two parking areas both very nearby and free. Short stroll into town centre. Helpful staff and nice breakfast. No tea/coffee facilities in the room (Brits abroad!) but we asked for a kettle which was supplied along with milk - don't forget your teabags... Couldn't dine in the hotel - chef was on holiday - but there's a great italian restaurant very close by - Ristorante Pizzeria Da Franco.

Great place to stay. 5 minutes walk from the old town. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Good choice for breakfast at the buffet. The hotel has a fantastic beer garden that also serves great value for money food.
